I can understand your situation harsh bhai. We also had same situation, we had to get possession of our flat at PDM, in Bahadurgarh(Haryana) but the builder filed insolvency to get away with money and leave india. But, my father and almost every homebuyer filed a case in court. It's been over a decade and still we are fighting against that builder, legally. The judicial system needs hell lot of improvements, no country can sustain and develop with such lame and delayed justice system(Justice delays is justice denied!)
As per laws of economics, money doesnt exist, the whole dollar is just printing business.
Indian economy doesnt have metal reserve for the money they print, recently india got 100billion dollar worth gold back from its daddy united kingdom .
Federal reserve, world bank and all other global banks dont have any metal reserve.

One tip for everyone who is going to purchase any Land of Property-
Must Check that project is under "RERA". It is Govt Authority which ensures public interest on properties and if any builder miss deadline or any commitments they impose heavy Fines on them.
Doesn't matter RERA or not. I'm running from pillar to post for getting possession of a RERA approved society for last 5 years.

@@Nayan_deep_09 ALWAYS do reverse title registry of the land you intend to buy , it cost money but it is worth it , also try to get loan for the land you intend to buy atleast 30% amount should be loan , and the loan officer will do all the due diligence to make sure whether loan can be given on this land .

Harsh bhai, I have been investing in real estate since the last 20 years. Normal court mei nahi hoga kuch. Go to RERA court, I won a case against Parvsnath developers which was a similar situation and the court ordered them to pay me the amount I paid plus interest but now the owner of the company has been arrested so i don’t think my money will come back but you can try going to the RERA court and I can also give you the contact information of the advocate. He’s absolutely brilliant. Mr Sunil Malik, he is also a pradhan of some organisation in RERA. If you want I can give his details

RERA is a review and compliance body which in actual terms is powerless/ toothless.. in the sense.. They really can't do anything except issue notices to the builder which the builder will completely ignore.. Or stall.. That's what I know.. In any case.. It's not like anybody is scared of getting arrested at all anymore in india.. It's a slight inconvenience for massive wealth gain.

I had nextra broadband a few years back
Fraudsters shutdown their entire system one day and disappeared from my area in delhi ncr and have not been refunding the money which is I had paid as bill and security.
Hundreds of emails and even complaint to govt grievance was of no use I said bye bye to this trouble no more nextra🙏
I would suggest to consult a lawyer before buying or investing in any property to check the papers if they are legitimate

I had also fought a case for 7 years. Thankfully the builder actually completed the project in my case. The RERA case proceedings was a joke for the builder. This is my great Indian judiciary.

Something like this happened to us. We bought a commercial property in C&C Mohali Junction, an ISBT in Mohali. A private company and the Punjab Government (GAMADA) were developing this project. It's been 10 years since we were given the allotment letter, and we still haven't received the property. Now, the government is saying that they are starting the pending construction again with another company and will give us back 5% of what we have paid. My father, who retired from the Army, had invested all his pension funds in this project.

I faced similar issue and it took me 9 years to even get my principal amount . Normal Police wont do anything you have to complain to Economic Offence Wing of the state . It would be better if you can gather list of people cheated under the scam and have them come and log a combined complain . EOW has much more power than ordinary police and it works little fast, stil 8/10 saal to kahi nahi gye . Interest /Penalty to bhul jao principal amount mil jaye to badi baat h . Bura haal h .
