I'm jelly of people in warm climates. Won't be able to break out my scooters until at least April.
Man. I take my scooter out on Rides in winter. Just half to dress for the weather.
@@chrisdudley8366 Yea, I drive it right up until near the end of October but after that it's just a hassle gearing up. Where do you live? I am in eastern Canada.
East coast Maryland
@@chrisdudley8366 Well, you don't have real winter down there. :p Try scooting in -25c, with wind chill(-30), plus the added riding windchill(-35 to 40). D'oh!
@@chrisdudley8366 One of my fave directors was from MD. Don Dohler.
That was great, Tom. That Stellar is a powerhouse. You picked a really cool review scooter with this model. Sorry I'm late to the party. I got the flu last week and I've been wiped out and out of my regular swing. In any case, heading back to the channel to see what else I missed.
Hey man! Hope you’re recovering alright from that. I heard the flu is nasty this year. Everyone around me is getting it. Last time I had it I lost my voice for 2 months lol.
Yah this Super Stellar is a sweet ride for sure. I was going to take it up South Mountain today but I drove back from that CES in Las Vegas yesterday with the fam and was completely wiped. Didn’t fall asleep until 4am haha. Plus it’s freezing out there 🤣.
How the Punk scooter holding up?
Hello tom. Thanks for the hill climb test. As always great content. 😎
Thank man! Hope all is well 😊.
Wow, amazing power
Yah this thing packs a lot of punch for being relatively small.
Great videos as always Tom 👍
Thank you 😊
It's a damned nice scooter. I wish it came out earlier cos I already ended up pulling the trigger on an Apollo City 2024. I will say the stem looks very thin on the Nami, wonder how well that holds up over time.
Yah it’s definitely a sweet ride. I also thought the stem was thin but it’s been holding up well so far. I think it’s the same one they use on some of their other scooters. I’m approaching 200 miles on it so far so we’ll see how it holds up.
Been wanting to get a Klima or one of these new Super Stellars, but sadly I can't until they offer a UL certification that my building requires. 😭😭
Ah that makes sense. Hopefully they get on board with UL soon. I know it’s cost prohibitive for smaller companies as I heard the certification is like $40k per model, plus you have to go through it again if you make any changes to the scooter. But I’m seeing more and more Nami’s in the wild, so hopefully in the near future.
Great vid. Can't figure out how to disable the speed limiter -- nothing about it in the manual. I see there are two wires that are connected with a clip (near the horn underneath the deck/controller port. I think that's it just not sure how to release the with the attached plastic clip. Seems super tight and I don't want break it (super delicate) -- I assume there's a knack to it. Thx!
Hey! Yah if you disconnect those wires you can just tuck the wires away :). Then speed will be unrestricted.
What is height of nami stellar?
I'm showing 50" from the ground to the handlebars and 41" from the deck to the handlebars.
I got nami klima max 😊
That’s such an awesome scooter 😎.
@@tomsgadgetgarage Yes it is 😊 I had it for 1 year and 3 months now
how do i disconnect the break sensors on my letrec 3.0
Best off-road hill climb scooter? Traction may be more important than power.
Yah the dual motors make a huge difference. This was paved surfaces though, but even so, I’ve had scooters in the past lose traction going up the steepest section.
I’m not understanding I thought electronic braking regen braking will keep you steady going downhill….instead of burning up the brakes/brake pads ???
Hey! So this scooter doesn’t have regenerative braking in the sense that it automatically brakes when you release the throttle, only electronic braking. When you release the throttle, it free wheels, regardless of the electronic braking settings.
@ oh gotcha….unlike the Punk Rider Pro & Apollo City Pro
Which would you recommend. The dualtron raptor 2 or this scooter?
Hey! I have no experience with the Dualtron Raptor :(. The Super Stellar is solid though. Loving mine so far. Superb acceleration 😊.
