I now feel ASHAMED for watching Friendship is Witchcraft all these years. In fact, I deleted all FiW episodes off of my hard drive and I hope to never see such an unfunny "abridged" series ever again. It is DISGUSTING how they managed to slip ANTI-HUMOR into an abridged series where such type of humor simply shouldn't exist. Upon closer inspection the editing is incredibly lazy too. For an example in the latest episode - "Celestia's Standalone Adventure" - only one scene is lazily reused throughout it. The "scenes" of the other creatures in the episode are just static images, they didn't even bother to animate those scenes. Again, I thank you for informing me about this and I'll make sure to never revisit or enjoy Friendship is Witchcraft or any Sherclop Pones Project for that matter ever again.
It's okay that this uses both shots of unicorn _and_ alicorn Twilight, as FiW Twilight is canonically able to switch between her alicorn and unicorn torsos.

I don't know what brought you to suddenly make this out of nowhere, but I'm very happy you did and I love it!
14:59 no one else seems to be talking about it in the comments so I will: that sentence-mixed preview of what Laughing in the Dark could have been was fucking inspired. The lyrics were pretty solid, if a little surface level, and obviously asking for something on the level of The Gypsy Bard is completely unreasonable but it wasn’t *super* catchy, but in terms of the vibes that FiW songs have you fucking nailed it. This whole thing was so obviously a labor of love and it has some jokes that landed better in this version than the live reading, primarily the first smash cut to Fluttershy and Ouija preparing the ritual with Twist in the center. The tonal whiplash was *very* well executed there. 16:21 making this a Scooby-Doo reference with Pink Panther music is also extremely good and a completely original joke!

Not only is "not over"; FiW!Twilight even pointed out that "Horse Girls" is both canon & just "paused" (seriously, why is that in the first EQG movie FiM!Twilight & Spike HAD to sleep in the CHS library? The mirror/portal still worked just fine!).
This is a NON-official animation based on an OFFICIAL script for the episode, which was from 2015. So no, this isn't technically anything new, unfortunately. But it's amazing someone went through the effort of animating the whole thing.
I love this. I will say that the original is slightly better (just either the delivery and the audience) but it is clear how much time and effort has gone into this just based on the visuals and details alone. Amazing work!

Not sure if anyone else has said it yet, but the sentence mixing for the Pinkie Pie song was pretty cool to see. Coming into this, I was most curious as to how that would be accomplished, or if it would even be attempted, and I’m glad to see you took a crack at it! Lovely work :)

So, i just realized that in that finale with tirek and discord the asshole duo, shoving each other’s heads up each other’s butts, *deep* into the night. Anyway, in it when he gets discord’s magic he gains like 100 unicorns worth of magic. but when he gets all the alicorn magic, he grows gigantic like he absorbed the power of infinite unicorns. How the fuck are 4 alicorns stronger than a being who’s magic has the power to alter the genetics of everything in the universe, or just disintegrate existence.
