That ref is a bad ref. Does he not know that probing and careful approach are part of the fight game. Insisting and rushing fighters to act may ruin their strategy and careful gameplan. Especially on the first round and even more on such high caliber experienced fighters. The ref was treating them as if they're amateurs just starting out too scared to take first action because they're afraid to get hit. I never saw Thai refs do this cringy and disrespectful behavior. Get another ref ONE, this one is bad.

Yeah, ONE championship is changing how the Thais do things. No Wai Kru and pressuring the fighters to go hard in the first round. All to appease Western sensibilities it seems. It's not good.

The speed of the combinations is just super fast!!! I was unable to properly see it. I thought there was an uppercut that set up a knee to the body. The replay shows something totally different. Wow.

Ref is to impatient,its Muay Thai they dont go all out on the first round without purpose,especially if both of them is elite level fighter
They only do that if it’s 5 rounds, one is trying to appeal to a new audience so they want more action. For This reason they like to market the really explosive style fighters like Rodtang. If the thais were to do there usual feeling out rounds people would get bored and watch sun else.

thai ref do it all the time bro, not that its good but dont be too harsh on him, i went to see my friend fight at his conor, the ref chopped his hand and yelled at them to engage like every 5 sec
