One of the released hostages (from the first group that were released months ago) talked about being w other hostages & how they supported each other & came to love each other. She said if one succeeded in stealing food they'd share it w everyone else. I bet all the small groups of hostages do this. She said, over time, they each came to know that they'd die for each other, & their Hamas guards got more uncomfortable w them the closer they got to each other, so there was that benefit, too; their guards avoided them more . . . . This comforted me a bit when the six were murdered together. They had been held as a group & probably became close this way. . . .

I am so so happy that they have been released and are back with their families. And I love hearing how they all supported each other in captivity but I didn’t expect anything different. I really loved Romi’s hairdresser making an emergency run to see her. Can we get someone to get them some new clothes? I don’t want to sound horrible or ungrateful that they were released but those clothes that Hamas put on them was an insult to their grace and love and style.

Thank God, but they are hunched over from imprisonment in the tunnels, maybe even in cages as was reported early on, and do not appear to be comfortable walking, especially Doron, who was held separately from Emily and Roni, that could support each other. Their mental/emotional recovery will take much longer than the physical rehab. 😢

What was the difference between those who were brutally abducted from their beds or from a peace festival, then held hostage by their rapists who murdered their children and parents in front of them, then suffered torture and years in dark tunnels with little food or air, and those in Israel who were murderers and terrorists and were convicted in a court of law and given humane treatment…? Lets examine… Because these 3 released hostages were innocent, brutalized, raped, kidnapped from their beds and homes or at a peace festival, and held captive…by monstrous, sadists…while the others who were in prison in Israel, were convicted murderers and terrorists…and given their day in a court of law with Jewish and Muslim judges, and were found guilty, then sentenced to a jail and provided a life above the tunnels, a sentence that gave them sunlight, freedom from rape and torture, companionship, 3 meals a day, showers, and shelter…so yeah…no equivalence.

What are you talking about? No hostage has said they were brutalized or sexually abused in any way, nor is there any evidence of rape by the freedom fighters and even Israel has admitted that. The Palestinian hostages which Israel kidnapped, most of them had no trial, but are being held in administrative detention. Even children as young as four. Israeli guards raped a doctor to death, raped other men with electric cattle prods causing permanent incontinence. Israel admits this and Israelis protest the investigation of those crimes, defending the rapists.
Give it a rest. We all know how Israel holds Palestinians without trial and how they rape prisoners.
I heard on news that a couple of the P prisoners that were slated to be released to Gaza refused and wanted to stay in the Israeli prison. Agencies are able to check on their well being in Israeli prisons, but not on the hostages.

They may have gained a little weight, but that is because they were fed a poor diet of high carbohydrates, such as cheap white bread and ramen. That is what happens to people who are sent to prison. Also, they were not allowed to go outside for exercise.
