      I don't use it anymore. I've been thinking about getting a new one though. I used it for about a year when I had it. And I didn't always use the features, becasue you have to keep the pen charged. I've been using GoodNotes on my ipad. That's another good solution like this, but it's all digital.

      Thanks for the comment. I think that most of the features have to be used with these specific notebooks, because the pages are printed with certain patterns that the pen recognizes, so that it knows that it's writing on a new page.

      That's the point of this writing set. Everything you've written is saved and the actual _Paper Tablet_ itself is disposable. You can buy a new one for not _too_ much money. It costs about £20 here in the UK, that's only £5 more than the beloved Leustrum 1917. The expensive part is the pen.

      There is a partnership between Neo Labs and Moleskine, Neo introduce their Neo N2 and shortly after Moleskine+ came out, but and there is always a but, it seems the Neo N2 does not recognize the moleskine+ notebooks, even though both have the micro dot grids

    • @Alexrmzfilms
      @Alexrmzfilms  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You don't have to have the phone open, it has an offline sync feature that saves the writing data on the pen, then the pen transfers it to the device once you open the app again. Your pen needs to have battery power to save the data though.

The one you can wipe with a damp cloth or blow dry with a hairdryer and or microwave to reuse is a totally different note book that you use an inexpensive Pilot Frixion pen and erasable/renewable paper. But not this you have here. Lol. Sorry, just imagining you hanging this notebook to dry😂

    Save your money. This system fails after a couple of years of use, so figure you are spending $200 for roughly 2.5 years of use. If the pen is out of warranty, you won't get any satisfaction from Moleskine support.

    • @Alexrmzfilms
      @Alexrmzfilms  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have a notebook and a phone, maybe you can just take pics and upload them to Evernote. I believe that Evernote has a feature that allows you to search handwritten notebook pages. If you are ok with something more low-tech, then maybe google drive. Otherwise just keep it old school and have a physical notebook with no digital counterpart.

    I just do not understand this product. If you like keeping paper notes in a notepad (as I do) then you have no need for digital copies of those notes because your book is where you do. If you want to make digital notes then why do that by scribbling on paper when you could do it directly on the screen? It makes no sense. It's clever but it feels totally like something Moleskine is trying to do to keep itself relevant in a digital world.
