"As the Buddha now asks about the best means of perfection, I hold that nothing can surpass the perfect control of the six senses with continuous pure thoughts in order to realize samadhi. What advice do you have to not be annoyed and judge people because there are so many ignorant people that do harmful behavior. It seems due to the illusory mind, I have to expect people to do evil like evil is the nature of the illusory mind /Ego. I feel like a eagle stuck here living with the chickens, and just want to avoid them because humans behave so poorly doing bad things. I have resistance to wanting to be around people. I appreciate hearing the Dharma teaching for how to not have aversion to evil people
Why & How to give rise to compassion? To give rise to compassion and see that the essence of who we are is indeed the same - Infinite light and life (the true meaning of Amitabha Buddha), try to see the Buddha nature in all beings, and with this compassionate heart practise Nianfo constantly to try to see the Buddha nature in all beings, it’s only due to ignorance that they do evil and behave like this, instead of getting annoyed and being judgemental, try to cultivate compassion and wish they also attain rebirth in the Pure Land 🙏Amituofo
I really was enlightened by your dharma talk on the Mind. I want to hear your explanation to my question. If the body is not the true Mind-Heart Consciousness, because a dead body cant think. I understand it is the Soul that enters the body and the body is alive. Since the Soul Consciousness is Divine Purity Bliss and Radiant Light that enters the body, we are basically good. But does Evil also enter the body because light and darkness like yin and yang energy coexists? How come some people are evil, like to harm others?
Amituofo, it’s the alaya consciousness that reincarnates and form the body (you can call it soul if you want). People do bad because people identify with the illusory mind - stemmed from ignorance, due to greed anger and ignorance and they act on from the illusory mind. probably Amitabha Pureland is much easier to achieve due to his vows n the King of sutra also guide us to Western Pureland according to some great teachers.
Buddha Amitabha promisses that just by calling his name you can enter there. To create a Pure Land you have to be a Buddha and that is impossible these days.

Can one be reincarnated into a tree or bacteria?
Bacteria yes. For trees these non- sentient beings, they also have spirits attached to them, but trees themselves don’t enter into Samsara. Amituofo
