Nice unit. Any reason why auto leveling didn’t perform well?

I made a notation at the end of the video regarding that issue. Turns out the system that they sent me is a new system. Other non-touchscreen systems look almost the same without the auto leveling camera. Accidentally I was sent the standard camera

No, I don't have the time. I also don't like people chasing me with questions and posting them on the wrong videos.

I'm confused by the claims about self-leveling. The manufacturer claimed that you were not sent the self-leveling camera, but you showed earlier in the video that the camera system *did* quickly and reliably self-level when hand-holding it. It's either self-leveling or its not, so further clarification would have been useful.
Without more info, I was left to assume that you likely *did* have the self-leveling camera, that it failed to work properly inside the pipe, and that the manufacturer then incorrectly assumed that your shipment was wrong and did not investigate further, possibly missing an opportunity to improve their product. This is probably not the impression the manufacturer wanted us to have.

I don't think you watched the entire video I made it clear what happened. Once I discovered the standard camera was sent to me in error, I contacted the company and they sent me the video showing the correct camera in operation. That is what you saw earlier in the video

Image equality sucks for such a expensive machine, but i guess for what it does it will do.

I'm not sure if you watched the entire video, but when it's inside the pipe the image looks very clear. You also have to realize that you're not only paying for the camera, you're paying for other features. Thanks for watching

I'm not sure what you expect, but the image quality here is fine. People using this machine don't care about having 4K@120Hz and prioritize focus and automated contrast, etc. It just needs to work reliably without expert adjustment to be seen clearly on a small screen in daylight while having enough resolution to recognize issues.
You're paying for the quality of the machine, simplicity sufficient for even your dumbest employee to use, and support from the manufacturer. I cannot speak to all of those qualities with this system, but the image quality is plenty good enough; it will never be used to film blockbuster movies ;).

$1850 ain't cheap, but it's more of a Professional model. I'm sure the battery pack and charger run the price up. I would say, if the chrome/SS jack by the display plug is video, it's S-Video, or pretty low resolution, but I'm sure it's adequate to the task. You don't need 1080p or higher for the built-in screen, though I'm sure recorded video is at least 1080p (looks like 720p). An RCA jack *_could_* be mono audio.

Yes, the price is up there, but you can make a lot of money performing inspections and tracing buried sewer lines. The unit would be paid off very quickly after doing several jobs. Thanks for watching!
