Pascal Demers Good question. The answer is no but it would be great if they added that feature. Right now you can go through the menu on the pairing screen and find settings and "trainer difficulty". Ride on 😊
Thats a really good question. I haven´t tried giving ride ons with the Apple TV remote. I will try that on my next ride and see if its possible but I think itś best to use the Companion app.
@@TheSweNic I think I may have found the solution. I found a Zwift sponsored video and they said to swipe up with the Apple TV remote to bring up the menu bar (see linked video below at the 2:42 mark). I will try this on my next ride. Thanks for chiming in. th-cam.com/video/hfZF21bfCMg/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo
Hi Michael, you can see the hills and the actual gradient on your computerscreen on the top right corner. If you want you could try the ERG-mode so your trainer adapts to the hills and you dont have to change gears as often. Personally I dont use ERG-mode :)
@@michaelhinchey Use one of the middle gears and the erg-mode will set the resistance. Try with erg mode and also without and decide which you think is the best. I allways ride without erg mode.
can you start or stop interval manually ? for example rather than using the custom workout, I just want to do simple 2x20 sweet spot without using the ERG and I want to start the interval exactly at the kom starting point.
Mine is allowing Bluetooth device connection but the map is dead and not showing ride data on the overlay. I can use power ups and take pics though. ???
Thanks for the help, can I ask would it work if my PC is connected via ethernet cable and my phone via wifi? on the same network? and i assume you did not use an ant + dongle at all in this video right?
Zwift is running on my laptop. While riding i also use my phone (Companion app) how do i quit and save a ride in Companion so i don’t have to get of my bike and quit and save at my laptop.
I think you can press the stop button at the bottom of your screen in the app. Then It should work. I will try my next ride to see if it works. ( I allways end the ride on my ipad or computer.)
@@Afoodjunkieathlete0827 You can download it on your phone for free. When you ride on zwift on your computer you can also have the phone app running. No pairing needed
DesertTrailRunner It will work if your phone and computer are on the same wifi. I have noticed that my phone with the companion app often connects a bit later.
You need to be on the same wifi on the computer and telephone. Sometimes the phone connects on the 4G network and then the companion and the computer don't connect.
LOL... 1:36 im right there
With an avg speed of 37,1 thats Impressive 💪💪💪 😎
Very helpful, thanks
Nice👍

Great video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Seth 😊
Thanks for your video ! Is it possible to ajust te resistance with de Zwift Companion ? If yes, how to do it ?? Thank you in advance.

I use apple 4k to link to my TV and not my phone, how can I give ride ons?

Another way is to zoom in on map to see your location, click on your area (arrow) and will give ride ons to people in the area
@@SethSill Thanks
Thx a lot but do you have to pair your Phone with your computer with bluetoth? Thx for your answer
Maurizio Mauri You need to be on the same wi-fi as your computer, then it will work 🙂
How can you tell a hill is coming up so u can shift appropriately?

Meer Umar No I don't think that is possible in Zwift. You can try "create workout" in the training button on the start screen.
helpfull, Thank you! Question: Do you pair your devices with the companion app (phone) or with the computer?
Thomas Schertling Thanks 😊. pair the devices with your computer. The companion app works if the computer and phone are in the same Wi-Fi.
@@TheSweNic Is there a way for it to work if not on same wifi? My computer is hardwired with Ethernet....

Hi Niclas... can you choose direction when alternative routes appear, from the companion or do I still need to lean across and click the mouse? Tnx
Robin Bhairam yes you can choose direction in the app. You should see arrows appearing in the app.

Having trouble switching to game mode, do you have to have app open before you start zwift?

Would there be a video call on that phone instead of typing?
I like that idéa. When I ride with friends we use Skype on the phone, but if Zwift could include video that would be great 😊
My companion app never shows this map. Why?
