I'm sticking with 1/12 Neca on this one. Despite my dislike for exposed joints, I was willing to pick up HT's original Scorched proto displayed at the Shangahi Con since the joints were somewhat hidden by the alien's exoskeleton design. But the new Scorched proto seen in these announcement pictures is a down grade. They added texture, but loss all the subtle paint applications of brown and blues seen in the original Proto from the Shanghai Con. Now we're left with a HT 1/6 scale figure thats essentially all black with drybrush applications, and exposed joints. It loses beauty of this creature design. Not for me, but happy for those that want it.
