I think it's not realized that by giving voice to the people that disagree with wokeness/DEI ideology, these guys are actually doing a real public good. Like this is a genuinely moral act. You are providing the capacity for debate, when one side of the debate was socially illegal even 5 years ago. Like so many things in history - segregation, Vietnam war, anti-trust stuff - one side tries to create a reality where the other side is too socially costly to ever voice out loud. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, Peter Thiel, Chamath, Elon, etc. Thank you so much. I genuinely respect and appreciate this, and admire the capacity to voice a real standpoint on a stage like this. Thank you!

We only wish to hear from Biden/Harris/Waltz on these important questions so the truth will be told but they choose to avoid and hide from the press and public in these type of interviews which tells me they either:
    Can’t articulate their views.

Thiel probably supports both parties financially. His companies all earn contracts from USA governmental agencies. He's obviously a vital supporter of Trump even if he slightly downplays it. He of course does not want to have too negative a public reputation.
In regards to Jason's questions about whether it is worth it to go to war with China over Taiwan's democracy- -- the only reason USA elites care about democracy in Taiwan is the semiconductor industry. Neither Saudia Arabia nor UAE are democracies. Why would Jason pretend or delude himself that the issue is saving Taiwan's democracy.

I refuse to believe that in a candid conversation he wouldn't admit that it is the US that is hungry for a war, with Taiwan in a role similar to Ukraine. In peaceful competition US consistently loses ground to the Chinese. To preserve hegemony, a war is a good bet, and American hubris lets them believe they would come out unscathed.
He frames the Chinese as hostile (unprovoked, of course), and the US as so naively peaceful and trusting it did not even acknowledge there is a competition ongoing. He's not a stupid man, so what else could this be but dishonesty? Meanwhile the Chinese insist this planet has room enough for both countries, while US expands sanctions.

He sure did mention the competition. He said it's essentially a thuycididis trap. Not sure I spelled that right.
If china is the benevolent country u seem to think it is, why are they laying claim to the entire South china sea?
They will be no different tan any other empire when they become the superpower.
      And they could be worse.

Taiwan is an independent country. In gerneral, USA does not want countries to invade and control other countries. Russia invading Ukraine is an example. It is also concerning that China is not a democracy - there is only one political party with its own politics. Look up who make the white paper protests.

One key things why innovation slowed drastically is that boundary of physics has being a limit, meaning we don't find as many breakthroughs in physics. Communication theory literary completed in the 60s and early 70s and have no real breakthrough since. Yes, we are just be able to bring those ideas into commercial applications, but we don't have as much breakthrough in scientific side anymore that enables engineering to catch up
