@@richr6249 o Silent Empire is the only one of those that’s us! The others are some older band with the same name that’s not around anymore! Frustrating bc we keep requesting they be separated 😂🤘❤️💚💙
And they even sound better live, which is so appreciated these days. The best thing is that their sound staff record their live performances really good so you always experience their sound live even on videos. The Pepsi Center and the Teatro Metropolitan concerts are so awesome.
For this band forget the official music videos, go for live, especially the new videos they are releasing from their performances from the show at the Pepsi Centre last year, way better than an OMV. React to this song from the Pepsi Centre that is on their TH-cam channel and compare.
Nah, they have great music videos. No reason he can't do both. Six Feet Deep, Burnout, More, Evolve, Que Mas Quieres, Error, etc ... their vids are too good to just skip them.
@@a.j.pinckney88 Yes, but most reactors do not do both, so I much prefer that they do the live and then they can react to the OMV later, if they want and time permits.
Live is where these ladies really sparkle. Any pro-shot live from their official page is way better than the music video. They are currently releasing live songs from last years Pepsi Center concert. "Choke" from that concert is way better than the music video.
Everything they have released from Pepsi Center is AWESOME. Pau had the flu and Dany and Ale were still a bit sick, but they powered through it. It has some of the best concert audio ever mixed down in post... That's a good thing, not a criticism!
The live performance is their real strength, coupled with great songwriting and musicianship it’s just so good. 10 years in and still one of their biggest (and oldest) fans! Sold out tours in the Americas, Europe and Japan says it all, with many having to transfer to bigger venues. Their biggest audience so far was at PolAnd Rock with 100k plus and at the end begging them to come back next year - not bad for an audience that hadn’t seen them before 😂
Know you're super Busy, but you haven't heard anything yet! Live is unbelievable, anything Pepsi Center or Teatro Metropolitan, or Anywhere, then eventually their Concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, performed at Lunario... May take awhile, but trust TW Army, it's Worth it, and we will All be there! Rock On TW Army! ⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡
Great reaction J...appreciate your honest comments and do believe you are a fan of The Warning Ladies, great to see other musicians who recognize how talented these Sisters are . Wishing you much success with your band and touring, Rock on!
I took my best friend to see them live - she's been in and around the music industry for decades and she's seen it all; when they played this song she turned to me with wide eyes and said "Oh, my God."
Great reaction. If you delve into their history you'll find that they developed an organic social media presence early on. They also had a viral video hit when they were very, very young and that launched them. One thing they didn't do was fall for the "big money, but give us complete control" carrot that labels and even movie/tv studios were dangling in front of them. They were ALWAYS dedicated to the music, not the money. If you watch their 2016/2017 TedX presentations you'll learn a lot more. However, you can find IG lives going way back as well where their only intent was to stay connected to the The Warning Army fan base that was developing. I think your band has a seriously bright future. Like them, never stop doing what you love, and never give up your vision because someone tells you "if you do it this way, it'll happen faster." The old line, "do what you love and call it work" isn't just a line. It's the path to a wonderful life.
Really enjoy your TW reactions, looking forward to the next one!! You might try one of their live songs from the Pepsi Center CDMX, next level from their previous concerts!!!🔥⚡️
Great React!! Ur the 2nd one to point out the pre-chorus as verse 1. Live is they're Super Power, TEATRO, or PEPSI Center will blow you away. I'm 65 and just saw these ladies for the 6th time. Has stirred something in me I haven't felt since the 70s/80s. ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
And they do!! I genuinely think "they are their own genera" - even within an individual album, they bounce all over the place yet make it all their own sound that is instantly recognizable.
Yeah, they're great. Gotta watch their live shows! From 2015, when they were little kids playing at their school, Liceo de Monterrey, to 2016 and 2017 at TEDx Talks at University of Nevada, to 2018 at the Dakota Bar and Lunario CDMX, to 2019 at the Whisky-a-GoGO in West Hollywood, to the Internet shows they did during the pandemic, to the 2022 blockbuster at Teatro Metropolitan, CDMX, to the 2023 MTV VMAs and the Pepsi Center, CDMX series they're releasing now... First I really love your Band !! Very unique sound hang in there the music is great. Now on to The Warning even their younger stuff is great music videos are always good but they are best Live❤⚡⚡⚡🎶🤟🤘🤟
They are best served LIVE. Forget the fake high production value studio videos where they lip sync and pretend to play their instruments. Their better live videos are far more impressive.
Thanks for your reaction. As others have said, any song from their 2023 Pepsi Center (in Mexico) concert would be worth watching. I particular, I would suggest the following two: '"Disciple" (a song from their previous album Error - you get to see/hear Dany and Pau sing separately), or "Hell You Call A Dream" (from their current album "Keep Me Fed" - Dany sings particularly well in one part). The Warning have just started their US Tour, where they are mostly headlining shows to 1000 to 1500 people, and then on to Canada, where they play larger venues as support for Halestorm and Evanescence.
Listen to EVERYONE. This band has good studio work, for sure, but they're absolutely best live. Take ANY live video from their channel. Especially the ones from Teatro Metropólitan or the Pepsi Center. You have been warned.
As good as this is, the live from Pepsi Center destroys this. You get to hear Ale, the bassist, do the drop chorus. Plus 8000+ Spanish speakers drowning out Dany in the opening on an English song? The OMVs are amazing, but live is another level. ❤️⚡🤘 If the moment hits you, do the live from Pepsi Center. You will not be disappointed.
Just saw them yesterday in brooklyn DAy one sold out ! I saw vid of them 3 weeks ago and got hooked and they are soooo good live because they have songs I don't like but during the show I was rocking out! (funny thing you mentioned chevelle because I saw them live in NJ 3 a month ago)
Vocal coaches reactors that I have watched have said that female vocalists tend to mature a bit later than male vocalists. If that is true, then Dany is barely beginning to enter her prime as a vocalist. She has made huge leaps on every album/tour they have done so far and I see that continuing for a while. If you think about it, Dany at 24 is only a few years removed from growing into her “adult” voice and still working on her “mature” voice where she’ll undoubtedly add more technique and colors. The last couple of years she’s really worked on the ability to add/remove the grit or distortion in her vocals to compliment her natural level and she’s always had a beautiful quick vibrato. She now seems to be working on getting more comfortable and powerful in her head voice as she is in her mixed. I believe in operatic terms that Dany is often categorized as a Mezzo Soprano comfortably in the 2+ octave range working towards a 3 octave range. It will be interesting to see where she’s at in her 30’s. I don’t think you’ve covered the drummer Pau singing lead vocals yet. She a great vocalist as well. Not quite the same range as Dany but of a very high quality. Ale on bass also has a beautiful voice but she prefers to stick to backing vocals but has filled in for a song or two occasionally if Dany needs a break.
