I love how more and more people are realizing how effective this is as a PDW. I am an early adopter to the 2020, purchased my first one beginning of year 2020.On my second one now with the stock, the extra inch in LOP makes it even better. They have some new versions coming out but they look to make the system bigger defeating its purpose. I like a system with a footprint smaller than an Uzi pro. The trigger guard mod you put in place is pretty genius! I use the RT G7 with a lanyard. You can pop it off with your thumb, it just takes longer to cover the trigger back into safe.
I built the same thing but with Glock 23 (40cal) but to specifically run 357sig with 6.2" extended barrel.. easy barrel swaps to shoot 40cal, or 9mm for practice or ammo shortage or cost ect. BIG energy gains with 357sig specifically in extended barrels, 5" to 6" and up barrels, extra 75lbs to 50lbs of energy per inch. Hydrostatic shock starts around 2100 to 2300fps, so with hot & light ammo like underwood 65gr, or civil defense 50gr, an 357sig extended barrels raises ballistics well into the rifle damage realm of 5.7-40gr and short barreled .223-50gr / 556-70gr ect.. and 6.5" 300blk sub-sonic Now consideing building another one, but with Glock 20 for 10mm with a 7" barrel, similar ammo runs around 2650fps with 950lbs of force which is rifle level damage... Also easy barrel swap for 357sig and 40cal, using normal 10mm mags.... (also barrel swaps to 9mm but needs dedicated 9mm mags) Underwood 357sig 65gr tested 3.5" = 579lbs @ 2004fps 4.5" = 684lbs @ 2177 5.5" = 721lbs @ 2240 6" = 743lbs @ 2269 9" = 898lbs @ 2494 Civil Defense 357sig 50gr 5" = 661lbs @ 2441fps 6" = 720lbs @ 2546 Civil Defense 10mm 60gr 5" = 803lbs @ 2455fps 7" = 944lbs @ 2663fps 16" = 1103lbs @ 2890
Recovery is coming out with the 2020s within the next month. It has a few extra features. But the biggest will be. Quick access to install without a bolt just a snap in. Have a feeling it will be around 150-350 as in the N is 100-200
Can you share some more about the new product they are developing? I cant find their social media. Also I cant find the walmart bag video, what's the model of it jw? Love this concept and in the process of putting mine together right now!
Another thought I had about this, why not just run it with an empty chamber? Doesn't take that much more time to chamber a round? At least for myself, I wouldn't see using this in an encounter where having the utmost fastest draw out of a bag would be needed. A draw that took 1 sec more would be hopefully fine(never know until its needed in the moment). I think running it as a back up/bag gun to my appendix carry, when I go to an area that is higher risk makes the most sense for me. I will also be using it for home defense for the time being.

Love this concept, hope to see more about it. I am a big fan of Brass Facts Pdw videos and ideology
I got my custom 17L suppressed in the same chassis. Outstanding.

Ozark trail sling bag. And it seems to be a pop out stock vs folding

Yeah that also makes sense, but I want the option to be able to “safety” the gun with a round in the chamber.
A rubber band would be less bulky and weigh almost nothing compared to the badge holder to retain the trigger guard cover. Give it a try!
That’s a really good idea actually
