@@lunardestruction look at that name bro, you’re a dweeb compared to both him and myself. The only moon you’re destroying is your own when you’re plugging it.
The submarine style is definitely one of the hardest to hit against imo because it's so awkward to hit the pitches. Especially, when the ball is literally rising faster than any other riser.
Having such a crazy change in arm slot from a reliever has to be on of the most underrated ways you can affect a batter. It throws your eyeline for a loop - it’s no longer a case of just looking for different pitch types/velo.
Jake Irvin added a cutter this year, and it’s really elevated his arsenal imo. Could it be that part of his success this year is from inducing soft/easy contact via the cutter and sinker, rather than just the sinker? Sinker was used 28.7% of the time last season, but it’s down to 16.5% usage and shares time with the cutter at 13.6%. I’m no pitching ninja, so I’m not sure of the specifics or if this is anything at all, but it’s something i noticed as a Nats fan.
Ninja, is there a sidearm/underhand knuckler in baseball history? If Rogers can put negative spin on the ball from there, what the hell happens if he chucks a knuckleball from there?
Cringe was my first reaction to the White Sox announcer, too. But I've been a fan of some pretty bad teams before, so at this point in the season I'll chalk it up to just trying to keep fans interested.
I would name the Rogers pitch an upper cutter. I'm also not sure why nobody isn't calling him the Thrownado with how much dirt he kicks up and the destruction he does to a batters eye.
4:18 Pham v Contreras - Runner on 3rd, less than 2 outs, flyball to left. Some coaches teach their players to run on the inside of the line in this situation. For if it's going to be a close play, the throw might hit the runner, which would break up the play and score the run. If there was a runner on 2nd, the ball might kick away, allowing the runner going from 2nd to 3rd to score as well. This is probably why Tommy Pham didn't take that outside lane Contreras provided for him. If this play happened before Buster Posey got hurt, Contreras is a tackling dummy. Pham could have gone in with a hard slide, but he clearly held himself up.
Hey Ninja, I wanted to know if you ever did a breakdown on Griffin Canning. I never understood how he never tips his pitches given his funky mechanics especially when he takes his hand out of his glove so early a

1st off...Will, u have excellent taste. Go Sox! Ninja, im yet to find out who your favorite team is? If its the Phillies or Pirates...or the Yankees 🙄...ill b referring to your channel as the Will & ninja (lower case) show. I discovered your channel about 2 months ago. And all that's missing is for Ninja to dab a little Jack Daniels behind each ear at the start of the videos. I kinda lost my love for the MLB about 5 yrs ago. But u guys helped me find it again. So I'm back to pissing off my gf while I watch baseball all day and being late for most appointments. I can't thank y'all enough 🤓. ...dont look ninja. This is a question is just for Will. It'd be nice if I got the teams right. Rangers instead of Royals. Lord help me. It's too early when I do these.

lets go ninja, and U ARE a great lookin dude! also, i ❤ dream weaver!!! 😂😂😂

Weren't these like 4 min just last last season?
