yeah I've shrugged off nervous yelps and screams from freaked out passengers during turbulence or rough landings in the past...but if the flight crew starts screaming you'd have to be a sociopath to not get at least a little worried
It was probably mass hysteria among the employees, once the respected employees breakdown that's when the rest of the employees panic. I actually would secretly hope my plane goes on on an island just like in Lost and pretend I can't speak English like Sun Kwon from Lost. Then I can farm potatoes there without having to talk to people.
Viet Lee at first I was like WTF? Why would anyone want that ever? But then you said "farm potatoes without having to talk to people" and *it all made sense.*
This is why the first flight attendant to show signs of panic should be promptly beaten unconscious so as not to spread fear to the rest of the attendants.
yo y'all my favorite people bruhhhhhh.. like dead ass . y'all need to figure out a way to make y'alls channel more popular. i feel like y'all could become huge. thx love yaa....
angeL Law wow, is that how foreigner think indonesian for hello is? its kinda upsetting since its not indonesian, n it really bothers me when someone say assalammualaikum instead of a simple halo or apa kabar to me, like, we live in indonesia. not all of us are muslims. it's like they automatically creates an invisible barrier when they say that to other indonesian with different background. n i remember when super junior came to indonesia, n they tried to talk in indonesian, n 1st thing they said was assalammualaikum, n i just cringed soooo hard when i heard it.
Sushimaru Ren well, foreigners don't know the history, and if you've watched jknews for a while you'll know that they try to do as much research as soon as they can for each topic in order to give their raw thoughts and opinions. But sometimes as they record or upload their videos new information pops up(see Tiff&Case's vlog abt why Julia stopped hosting jknews). Though in David's case, it was just a passing thought as they were talking about Indonesia, he's not obligated to check whether or not every detail he says is correct & for me just having my country mentioned on social platforms by foreigners is enough to make me giddy xD. In my personal opinion, it's a culture thing since it has been so long that the majority of Indonesians are muslim. I myself am not muslim but I wouldn't think much abt if someone greets me with assalamualaikum, and I'd actually return the greeting to show respect. At the end of the day, it means hello. But that's just me :)
The subbers were probably lazy. It might be something like "assalamu'alaikum, apa khabar tuan (something-something)" and they shortened it to "hello." Some subbers don't even sub a conversation because the actors talk fast and you'd be missing something. I know not all Indonesian are muslims but nowadays even non-muslims say it...it just depends on how one interpret it. But yeah, maybe david got those unqualified subbers when he said about the "hello" part
if we have pilot in the fans, please confirm, is it true the reason they ask u to turn off ur cell signal during flight is because ur phone would show up on the radar? and if all the passengers did that, the radar would look messy af? but if only 1 or 2 ppl do it, its not gonna affect much? and is it also only for when we take off/land? during flight is okay?
To be honest, electronics barely even affect the aircraft. We only do this so people are more alert during emergency situations, as they won’t be looking at their phones all day
You only get cell service up to 10k feet so it won’t matter on a commercial flight unless you have WiFi because those flights fly at 30k feet and above. Just a nugget of info.
with this situation they had no choice but to scream their commands loud enough for the whole aircraft to hear because we are told not to use the intercom in training and train to sit in your jumpseat in your brace position and scream to the pax what to do in an emergency situation expecially one like that where they cant prepare the cabin ahead of time
Same as Tim and Meriel. I don't ever think I'm gonna die except when I was drunk and my cousin was drunk driving. Called my aunt and texted her "Take care of my brothers" with gibberish. Like Meriel where I like to sit criss-cross in planes and everywhere lol.
Is there any way for you guys to add subtitles on the screen as an option. I want to watch your videos during class but the auto generated subtitles do not properly generate what you cool guys are saying. I love all of you btw. The good and the funny bad.
I'm from Indonesia!! If you want to ride a good plane there, you should try LionAir or BatikAir, I've never personally rode BatikAir but I heard it's good!
I did a zip line once in LA over a bunch of crocodiles. Kept spinning and had trouble keeping in one direction. Kept thinking how it would suck if the line snapped 😱🐊😁!
Does this video seem similar to anyone? I suffer from chronic deja vu. So I literally think this has already been on this channel. Dammit, this is so ridiculous, lol..but I'm actually freaking out!😜😂😂🤣🤣
Pearlie Tablang Malaysian and Indonesian are practically the same language. Many linguists even argued that these two are just 2 different dialects of Standard Malay language.
The plane did NOT plummet la... The plane only decend at higher sink rate... Planes are designed so that it can glide, just a matter how well they glide. Planes don't dropped vertically unless the wings broke off
My friend was on another airasia flight a few months ago from Perth to Malaysia and the engine blew out. Flight crew panicked and the fucking pilot told everyone to "pray for their safety"
“KISS YO FAMILY MEMBA” I’m done thank you David
yeah I've shrugged off nervous yelps and screams from freaked out passengers during turbulence or rough landings in the past...but if the flight crew starts screaming you'd have to be a sociopath to not get at least a little worried
Theo M. Sociopaths can be worried too.
lanceth0t1 from what I remember sociopaths lack empathy and certain emotional responses. Also they think differently.
"I'm going to die anyways, might as well try it"-Joe lol
I'm Indonesian and this is the BEST description of my language by David :P Thanks David hahahahahaha.
"Imma die anyway, might as well try today" lmfaooo 😂😂
This whole time i thought tims last name was actually delaghetto but it means “of the ghetto” omf my life is a lie
sam trout holy shit. I never knew that. I feel stupid now
sam trout Well, its not his actual last name. Just a stage name.
sam trout I use to know a kid named Juan Delgado so his last name made sense....until you shattered it
kay k he literally just said that...
Its from Fresh Prince
This reminds me of that Key and Peele sketch
Wodchly which one?

This is one of the funniest JkNews videos I've seen in a while.

Viet Lee Wow, you watch too much TV show haha
Viet Lee at first I was like WTF? Why would anyone want that ever? But then you said "farm potatoes without having to talk to people" and *it all made sense.*
Viet Lee when will the potatoe jokes end ?
This is why the first flight attendant to show signs of panic should be promptly beaten unconscious so as not to spread fear to the rest of the attendants.
Yes!!!! Viet Lee my spuddd
I kinda wanna see Geo deliver the news or Joe. That eould be interesting
It's pretty good
Air Asia is a Malaysian airline but Imma let this slide because it's bad publicity 😂😬
This story had me cracking up. Just imagine being on that flight... man. I'd start crying.
Flight Attendant:*flopping, falling, and has blood leaking from head*
Flight Attendant: *with a chill smile* beef or chicken.

AAY IM FROM PERTH!!! The most isolated city on earth
david, the indonesian of hello is halo...
Sushimaru Ren i think he meant the asslamualaikum(idk how to write it im sorry) greeting which if im not mistaken @jknews is actually Arabic
angeL Law wow, is that how foreigner think indonesian for hello is? its kinda upsetting since its not indonesian, n it really bothers me when someone say assalammualaikum instead of a simple halo or apa kabar to me, like, we live in indonesia. not all of us are muslims. it's like they automatically creates an invisible barrier when they say that to other indonesian with different background. n i remember when super junior came to indonesia, n they tried to talk in indonesian, n 1st thing they said was assalammualaikum, n i just cringed soooo hard when i heard it.

I love rough landings, it's like an amusement ride...And I have also survived another flight.
FYI, Airasia is Not Indonesia airline. It's Malaysian airlines, same as MAS, Malaysian. So, the language they talking, is Malay
You guys are awesome!
When they were saying turbulence I was like “excuse me 20,000 feet of turbulence”
Bart: I love this fucking seat
That shit had me dying!
“You gotta doversole in there?” 😂
Damn stop making me laugh at 3 at night! My family is trying to sleep! So inconsiderate! Gahh

“Why not try today?”

thats what i thought, thanks

niajef your cellphone signal doesnt register on conventional radar
do planes still use conventional radar???
with this situation they had no choice but to scream their commands loud enough for the whole aircraft to hear because we are told not to use the intercom in training and train to sit in your jumpseat in your brace position and scream to the pax what to do in an emergency situation expecially one like that where they cant prepare the cabin ahead of time
It's funny when David is in the video. But it's even funnier with Tim and David in the same one
Plummet sounds crazy... could descend be the right word?
Imma die anyway, might as well try today
- Joe 2017
This video didn't even pop up on my feed smh.
Good thing I watch JK religiously and caught this one
Same as Tim and Meriel. I don't ever think I'm gonna die except when I was drunk and my cousin was drunk driving. Called my aunt and texted her "Take care of my brothers" with gibberish. Like Meriel where I like to sit criss-cross in planes and everywhere lol.
Did Air Asia go to a village with no electricity and no running water and just pick out people?! Hahaha
This made my day 😄
Awesome Crew.
I believe Air Asia is a Malaysian airline
Is there any way for you guys to add subtitles on the screen as an option. I want to watch your videos during class but the auto generated subtitles do not properly generate what you cool guys are saying. I love all of you btw. The good and the funny bad.
This episode is so funny😂😂
Joe: when your asshole is in your guts
Geo: I kinda like that feeling
😭😭😂😂
Isn't AirAsia from Malaysia?
Im always amazed how good Tiffs recollection is.
I'm from Indonesia!! If you want to ride a good plane there, you should try LionAir or BatikAir, I've never personally rode BatikAir but I heard it's good!
What was the backpack bart had on? Looks cool
Imagine the crew members freaking out and pushing the passengers out the way so they could use the masks 😂
I did a zip line once in LA over a bunch of crocodiles. Kept spinning and had trouble keeping in one direction. Kept thinking how it would suck if the line snapped 😱🐊😁!

Lmao I love David
I keep thinking of Soul Plane lmfao
LMAO David's crazy ass comments
Does this video seem similar to anyone? I suffer from chronic deja vu. So I literally think this has already been on this channel. Dammit, this is so ridiculous, lol..but I'm actually freaking out!😜😂😂🤣🤣
100% would watch JKFilm's skit of how this shit went down.
DAVID what you do not u understand does not make it crazy 😂😂😂😂
I think what David meant for the "hello" was "Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh" which is actually an Arabic greeting.
I can agree. Indonesian sounds really close to Tagalog. It sounds a bit faster though
Astro Jay it doesn't sound faster. We just talk really really fast.
+ Astro Jay Really?! I don't agree. It sounds more Malaysian.
Pearlie Tablang really? I've never heard Malaysian before that's why 😅. Not a lot here in LA
Pearlie Tablang Malaysian and Indonesian are practically the same language. Many linguists even argued that these two are just 2 different dialects of Standard Malay language.
this was funny af
Air Asia is Malaysian.. not Indonesian
