Eddie had the most amazing line in that film 'The SS will tear you apart like warm bread,' which he refrained from delivering in a full James Mason, which almost disappointed me.

This is perfect! Eddie-F-ing-Amazing Izzard, Harry Shearer, and Graham Norton. And they're all pretty much on the same comedy page here... Awesome Clip Thank you uploader.

This is one of my favorite all-time episodes. I had never considered before that perhaps the rejoinder "Sit on it," actually is a suggestion of a survival technique to get through something stressful, dangerous, unfamiliar, like an unwelcome comment or The Biblical Flood. More or less the equivalent of "Ride it out."

Hitler was not a vegetarian out of a love of animals. He had digestive problems and eating meat made him ill. He often did it anyway, but for the most part he had to avoid it.

"A hit...a hitten." I cracked up at that, but I went on the website and they call them "kitlers". But anyway, Eddie Izzard is great, I so wish I can see him live.

I like how he sort of gives the game away of doing these promotional appearances. H shot the movie a year ago, has since moved on with his life and done other things to the point that he can't even remember the name of the character he played.
It's really bad when the movie has been sitting on the shelf for years and now the star is obligated to make the rounds of the talkshows and has to talk up a movie they barely even remember.

Eddie Izzard is so dull in interviews. Graham is much funnier here.
