These machines were always really great at getting the laundry clean! The swift agitation stroke, added to the performance of the Dual-Action Agitator, made it a great turnover and ultimately a great performing machine. Enjoyed the video!
Nice. I'm glad to see more of these popping up on TH-cam these days. My only recommendation would be to adjust that water pressure switch so it fills higher by default.
Those direct drive Whirlpool/Kenmore washers were no joke. Shame they stopped building them.. Id like to see a side by side comparison between a direct drive and an Imperial Mark XVIII for roll over.
Love this old washing machine, before I had a Maytag that lasted me less then a year, I guess that why the Maytag men is sitting around doing noting in those commercials, because the washer sucks, never again would I buy a Maytag

That is the same washer that I have in Puerto Rico, with the same panel layout, and even the same agitator cap.

what year is that washer as i have the same machine but the serial number was washed off.
So the 70 series only does one spray rinse during the final spin? Most Kenmore direct drive washers have two spray rinses during the second spin.

I have that kind of washer and it barley shakes at all during the spin cycle, Boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
