I have that exact machine after my 30 year old Magic Chef (made by Norge) finally had the transmission lock up. This Speed Queen does a full load in about 25 minutes. A LOT shorter time than some of the current front loaders and the non-agitator machines. Glad I got it. Yes it may be noisy, but it is a "commercial" washer just like the laundromats use, just no coin box.
Have an older Speed Queen AWN412 picked up used about 6 years ago with very low hours of use, It works very well. Use it as a backup to my newer machine to clean shop towels and heavily soiled work clothes. Has less functions than the 432 (no ECO cycle or extra rinse) but otherwise looks identical. It's been 100% trouble free.
This machine has the best rollover of clothes of any top loader that I have seen yet!! I have a three year old Maytag with the agitator. What a disappointment.
@@brunoshow124 I've never said they was I said that's what they get their inspiration from Maytag spin drains and wash action and on top of that look at the old Raytheon machines it's very similar to an Maytag from the 1980s
Suds were the old method of trapping the dirt off of laundry. Today’s He detergent is highly concentrated and can retain the dirt without too much sudsing. If you see “bubbles” in a modern machine, you may be overdosing on detergent. The suds will drop the dirt back on the load.
I have the AWN412SP111TW01 AS 2010 MODEL. 5 year warranty on the motor , mine blew up at 5 years 2 weeks. Called SQ and they told me I should have bought ex. warranty and basically hung up. Replaced motor at my expense. My machine will not run when lid is up like the one in this video. Looks exactly the same except for the extra rinse switch. After motor replacement the machine has been working fine. I had to fix/CA glue all the knobs back on so we could use the machine. The knobs strip out easily and will not work because you can`t turn them. After the knobs fix all is well. This is the strangest video I watched on YT , hahaha.

Once the brake sets in Speed Queen top load washers, and the indexing stops, it does a good job with the agitation.
22:30 Unbelievable quiet!
Beautiful machines 😍

Have you ever seen a Direct Drive washer in action? Nothing beats the rollover on those.
@@jamesorsby7553Those and the old GE filter flo models.
Is this belt driven?
For those people who say this is a residential machine, it’s not it’s a commercial machine.
Without a coin box
Pretty much it's built like a residential machine from the mid-2000s or before.
It is a residential Machine older Maytags will beat this all speed queen did is copy older Maytags
@Makesdonsdonsoney These machines don't look like Maytags at all inside.

Is it my imagination or am I hearing some extra noise coming from under that tub?
The brake system is making noise
It's normal for the brake to make that noise once it's fully kicked in
How much this kind of machine
Is that he or normal detergent?
Did you adjust the fill level so it would fill all the way up on high water level?
Yes
@@bendu2834 is this regular detergent or high efficiency detergent?
@@450isnifty5 He detergent
Very nice. This looks to be a 2013 model?
This is at least a 2015 since Normal Eco as only required to be there after 2014
It is a 2015 model
These are excellent machines. Good agitation and rollover..
Where is the fabric softener?
I don't use fabric softener
Not even liquid detergent, nasty 😂😂
I like washers that shake real hard!!!!
Not enough bubbles

@@wyzemann I see thanks for this I'll reduce my detergent usage, smart knowledgeable answer
