Oh, Shellie, you have so many projects I just love! Thanks for sharing! I forgot about the Praiseworthy Stitches, Courage. I need to get that started. Along with myself having metastatic breast cancer, I want to include my brother, who recently finished grueling treatment for melanoma. I am glad you're doing better from your fall! I have a bad tear in my shoulder along with other findings. I have no idea how I did that! Im hoping it doesn't keep me from stitching! Thank you for your inspiration and kindness! You are a blessing to me!!
Hello sweet friend! LOVED seeing what is in your heifer basket! My wish list definitely grew! Always enjoy watching your videos! Looking forward to seeing how you organize your studio and what is in the other baskets you have on the go! Happy stitching - Laura
Hi stitchy friend. I did not intend to be a monogamous stitcher but I get into a project and just cannot stop. Currently I am working on Praiseworthy stitches. Courage SAL with Pam from Just Keep stitching. I am a breast cancer survivor celebrating 14 years cancer free. I am enjoying stitching all these motifs. I may have to do the heifer board next year. I, like you did not have an interest for many reasons but don’t think I really understood the concept. Love watching your flosstubes. Have a wonderful day!
Always feel like we are friends when i sit down to watch you! I finished the cottage sampler in honor of my mom who we lost to breast cancer. I love the Heifr board. I am finally backstitching my oldest WIP so i can get it framed. Hugs❤❤ thanks for all you do.
Another great video! I always have my spreadsheet ready to be "enabled" by something you are stitching on. I loved seeing what was in your basket and I can't wait to see what else you have tucked away! Thank you for sharing!
Go Buckeyes! I used to do all that…quilts, crochet, knitting….for unwed mothers, home for unwed mothers, non-abortion organizations., Project Linus. Latest was tiny blankets for babies that were still born and people just left them unclaimed. Breaks my heart. I made 80 quilted blankets for them…I think the covers were 8 inch squares. Love to hear about others that do similar projects. Love your stitching projects.
Thank you for celebrating us. I started cross stitching a year ago and I'm only stitching on aida.I think they look beautiful. Thank you for all your beautiful words. God bless you ❤your videos.
Thank you Shellie for sharing your projects. I am glad you showed what you were stitching on Steinbeck linen, I had bought a yard and was so disappointed in the color, it was not anything like the color I saw on the website…the other two fabrics I bought looked liked the images so I am not sure why this one was so off. It helped me to look at the color in a whole new way.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. I have 2 Boards (WIPGO & HEIFR), and have met my goals - - got 1 done, 2 WIPs with great progress & 1 New Start, hey that number was called. lol
I’ve lots of stitching friends in my project bags too😊 some wonderful inspiration Shellie. I’ve a piece of linen that doesn’t float my boat as too stiff,so going to gently wash. If that doesn’t work I’m changing linen. Blessings and happy stitching.
We have a match! I'm working on Praiseworthy Stitches Courage samer. I too am a breast cancer survivor!! Thanks for pulling out the aida now and then. That's what I stitch on and that's what I enjoy and thats what matters. My courage sal was R25...im almost done with it!!! ❤ Thanks for showing us what's in your HEIFR basket !
Oh Shellie thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching. I hope your back and neck is feeling better, I face planted the floor July 13th (my husband was in the hospital having a shoulder replacement) and broke my left shoulder , cracked two ribs blacked my face and messed up my mouth, so I understand the pain! Stitchy friend I hate to be the one to say this but will pull Matilde and look at your stitching between B and C….it looks like you went up 1 row when you started the C. I hope I’m wrong and it was the way you were holding the piece! May God give you a speedy recovery!
Thank you for your comment about aida stitchers. I enjoy stitching on all fabrics but aida is what I stitch on when I'm comfort stitching away from my bright lights and magnifiers. Like you said, it's just a ground fabric. I celebrate, you, too!
Shellie, thank you for sharing your basket of lovelies! Also, thank you for sharing your Salute to Abagail conversion - I've been wanting to stitch that for a long time but didn't know what colors to choose - so I am using your colors because I love the way it is looking! I have never used Belle Soie silks, and I am excited to give them a try.
I agree if you hate it ditch it, I just sent a whole kit to Goodwill,I had it about half done. Hope someone can finish and enjoy. Always enjoy watching in early morning before starting my day.
It is like stitching with friends. I finished a band and two letters on Fiona Rutherford. Plus I get to see all your projects. I am doing Wipgo, you are right that it helps us make progress. It took me a year of doing it to figure out how to make it work for me. It much more fun now and that's what it's all about, the fun.
Good morning Shellie!! It’s always a pleasure to have you in my home!! Thank you for sharing all of your WIPs!! Thanks to you and Keri I finally made the attempt to stitch on linen. I love it!! It is a little bit pricey for my budget. But I sure am happy with the way the project turned out. Thank you for taking the time to make your Flosstube. You always share such great information!! I truly appreciate you!! ❤
Thank you so much for this beautiful, loving place to visit with you. I love being able to sit and stitch while stitching. I can't wait to see you again.
I very much enjoyed seeing what was in your basket. Your stitching and projects are all so beautiful. You're absolutely right - it's so fun to see what's in another stitcher's baskets. Thank you for another wonderful video.
That was fun! I'm not stitching on anything would be familiar (I don't think). It's called Antique Reindeer in the Forest. It's a monochromatic stitch (my first), and I'm stitching it with the called for color and 14 count Aida, also called for. I love stitching monochromatic! I'm not sure what my next piece will be. I have a few I want to start. Happy to hear you're feeling better!
Thank you for sharing what’s in your basket. There was quite a lot!! Loved seeing all your beautiful projects. I always like catching up with your videos whilst sitting doing some stitching.
Shellie , I love the way you think, the way your heart goes to the Lord. You set such a good example for all to follow. I am also a Born Again Christen! But when you talk I feel your heart and your caring I wish I could see that with others. Your are great, God bless you. Lynn Tone
What a wonderful flosstube to watch today. Sun is shining but cold. It was so informative and to see all the different project that you are doing. Take care and see you again. 😊❤️🙏
How fun was this going through your Heifr basket of goodies!! Thank you for all the encouragement and inspiration you gave to the stitching community. Well now I think I might need this Heifr sheet to get started on some of my beautiful patterns I want to stitch and display on my walls. The Lord's Prayer is just one of the many you showed and I want to stitch mine as well as Beloved from Sylvia, I have a good start on this one. Interestingly enough, I also was shown after prayer that Kindness will be my word of the year and Stacy Nash's Bee Kind sampler is so very pretty reminding me of what I want more of in my everyday life! Shellie I am so glad you are feeling much better and will keep you in my prayers to get to complete recovery from that nasty fall you took January 1st. Have a blessed week of stitching what you love my stitchy friend until next floss tube.🥰
I love how you refer to your stitches as old friends - I feel exactly the same way. Thanks for sharing your Heifer board projects with us along with the background on many of them. Until next time, hugs and blessings on your coming week, kind and sweet friend!
Hi Shellie here I am sitting stitching watching your video, nothing better. I have 4 wips in my basket, Quaker Christmas 2, Let Love Reign by Teresa Kogut, The lords Prayer, and a Christmas stocking for my newest granddaughter who is due in April. 4 really big projects, 2 of which are gifts f that have to be finished this year. 😵💫
It was a treat to see what was in your stitching basket. I especially liked the Mathilde sampler because it is small and only letters which makes it easy to finish. Don’t know if the pattern is this way but it looks like the spacing under the letters C,D,E, and F is larger than the A and B. Would hate to see you continue to stitch the whole line and have to rip it out! Hope it will be available later since it came in the red box. Happy stitching.
As always a true inspiration. For years I always worked on linen. As I have aged so have my eyes. I can work on some linens for small projects. However, I am so glad to see all the varieties of 16 and 18 count fabric. My favorites Fiber on a Whim and Picture this plus. What's in my basket?? Lover of My Soul by From the Heart Needleart, Hands to Work by Little House Needleworks and then there's The Daisy Girl by Leisure Arts...I am determine to get this done, have been working on it for a LONGGGG time. The pattern is somewhat challenging but I WILL finish it. Thank you for all your encouraging words. Look forward to your videos every week.
Loved seeing your 24 projects for this year. I’ve picked several I’d like to get finished before market hits in March. I know there will be many squirrels. Lol. Looking forward to seeing the behind the couch basket & recliner basket. Isn’t it fun to have baskets full throughout the house?
Great video Shellie! I’m fairly monogamous with my stitching. Right now I’m working on Rosewood Manor Harewood House Sampler with at least 6 more kitted projects but I just can’t make myself bounce around. 🙂
I stitch on scroll rods and my solution to taking my stitch on trips was a telescoping art tube - actually got it at a sailboat shop - they used them for maps. It’s about 4” across. Used it to haul large stitches (24” tall) to Newfoundland for two weeks and to San Diego multiple times.
Holy moly! What an inspiration! All those beautiful stitches in that basket! Thank you for explaining the “Heifer” chart - I laughed out loud😂 Can’t wait to see you again!
Those are some really beautiful projects you have going. I totally agree about giving up on things you are not happy with working on. We all have more stash than we’ll ever complete, so might as well ‘stitch what you love’, as Brenda and Laura like to say.❤
Loved the sweatshirt today! I grew up in rural northwest Ohio and am a proud alumni of Ohio State and yes, I bleed Scarlet and Gray! I love everything about your videos - you are so easy to watch and listen to! Keep them coming!
I love that your Grandmother was named Honey, so sweet. I am a one at a time stitcher I like seeing something finished soon. You have so many lovely designs in the works. Your wood thread keeper is beautiful. Love the fabric on the bag, so cool.
So glad you are on the mend. The HEIFR way to move through projects sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration and positive message. Another great video!
30 yrs ago I was a monogamous stitcher but after returning to cross stitching about a year ago and discovering floss tube I have fallen down that rabbit hole of having many WIPS - so many pretty things to stitch that I can't help myself- I made myself a WIPGO board so I will see how that works out for me -happy stitching this year
Miss Kay would be delighted if you got it done and found a new friend along the way. My WIPs are few, so my Heifr board has stuff like Hoop a New, Go rogue and embroider, bust out some silks, pick a wip, try goldwork, try cutwork, do an FFO, start a small, work on a one color project, gimp it up, and stitch a Santa among others. This month i landed on my free space and Remember Me from Teresa Kogut which is in memory of my Dad. I’ve been trying out my scroll rods, but like you just don’t enjoy them. You helped me “remember” it’s okay to change that if I get no joy so thank you! I will try them again with a different stand someday. And you enabler! Beloved and Seven Sheep both jumped on my wishlist. They are oh so pretty! Stay warm!
So fun to go thru your basket of stitches. Love your Miss. Kay stitch it will be beautiful. I also have Martha Walmsley kitted & ready to start when her Heffer # is called. It's so hard to wait, I sure hope it's soon! Thank you for the visit to your basket.
I don’t quite understand! Who is going to call the numbers we are to stitch? I’m a set up to do the HEIFR but don’t know where the numbers are coming from??? Please advise.
When cats lay eggs…..My aunt used to have hens (among other animals on her farm) and of course with that there were barn cats to keep the mice population under control. Anyways - one of the momma cats decided to have her kittens in the side of the hen house where the feed was stored. The hens imprinted on one of the kittens and that kitten started roosting with the hens. I swear if given the chance that cat would have eventually played an egg!
Thank you for this video Shellie, I enjoyed rifling through your basket with you. Now, can you help me find my Cohana snips? I only noticed they were missing this morning and they are just so tiny, they could be anywhere
It is just like wipgo but the letters are HEIFR- it’s the brainchild of The floss bossin cousins. They have a Facebook group as well to compliment. If you go and watch their videos they explain in detail
Could you explain what makes it an eyeglass sampler? I hadn't heard of these before. I'm doing WIPGO and I put "organize my craft room" too. Need that extra push too. 😂 I also added a stitch outside. Last year that was called in chilly March, I'm hoping for a warmer month this year. 😊
There were samplers made in Baltimore called eyeglass samplers - if you look closely at the gate of the fence around the house it appears to look like a stack of eyeglasses. My chart from Queenstown Samplers Elizabeth Jordan is a Baltimore eyeglass sampler. Look It up on line - you’ll see it instantly. Our guild did a lecture on them.
Love your videos Shelley! Would you be so kind as to provide me with names of the Belle Soie threads for The Wishing Thorn’s Elizabeth Ranicar 1845? The kits are sold out and I so want to stitch this sampler after seeing your threads and the pattern! Thank you so much in advance for your help 😊
Well, since you asked 🤣 here is what's in my stitching basket: Valentine Quaker-Primrose Elizabeth Garrod-HATS Christmas Garden-Blackbird Silent Night-SWTH Wee Santa-Heart and Hand Therese Grosjean-141 Design Spring Chickens Pinkeep-Stacy Nash A Year of Celebrations 2-HOD Gather Round Spring-HOD Martha Evans-Scarlet House Autumn Quilt-Primrose Snowflake Serenade-Country Cottage Needleworks

Loved looking in your basket and especially hearing you talk about ‘re-starts’ - that was so freeing. Thank you.
I love & look forward to each “visit “ with you!! Bless you for creating a frequent respite from our wacko world!

So glad you can stitch the cottage sampler as a survivor! ❤❤ lost my mom to breast cancer 1 years ago in December 2022.

I usually finish a thread, but I love the idea of hanging threads. You know exactly where to pick back up without searching! Brilliant time saver!❤
Thank you for keeping me company and sharing all your beautiful projects my friend 😊
Have you thought about having a stitchy retreat at your place? You are so inclusive and inspirational.
Oh Shellie you have inspire so. Your projects and stitching are beautiful sweet friend ❤ I love you pretty lady ❤

Thank you for your comment about aida stitchers. I enjoy stitching on all fabrics but aida is what I stitch on when I'm comfort stitching away from my bright lights and magnifiers. Like you said, it's just a ground fabric. I celebrate, you, too!
I just love following you: you are such an inspiration
Shellie, thank you for sharing your basket of lovelies! Also, thank you for sharing your Salute to Abagail conversion - I've been wanting to stitch that for a long time but didn't know what colors to choose - so I am using your colors because I love the way it is looking! I have never used Belle Soie silks, and I am excited to give them a try.
Oh I do hope you’re pleased with my conversion.
Belle Soie are my very favorite silks and the stitch like a dream. Enjoy!!
I agree if you hate it ditch it, I just sent a whole kit to Goodwill,I had it about half done. Hope someone can finish and enjoy. Always enjoy watching in early morning before starting my day.

"What's In the Basket?" Gotta be a song. Fun visit, Shellie. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing, Shellie!
Shellie, you may have lost one circle of friends, but you have gained a new one in us--your TH-cam followers. Thank you for all you do.

Love Cosmo aida! So soft and stitches up beautifully. ❤
This was a fun video!! I loved seeing what was in your basket! You are such an inspiration!! 😊
Enjoyed diving into your Heifr basket. Looking forward to your other basket dives. Take care and Happy Stitching!
I love that your Grandmother was named Honey, so sweet. I am a one at a time stitcher I like seeing something finished soon. You have so many lovely designs in the works. Your wood thread keeper is beautiful. Love the fabric on the bag, so cool.
I enjoyed you sharing your basket. You inspire me every time I watch. You have such a sweet spirit. Enjoy all your stitches.
So glad you are on the mend. The HEIFR way to move through projects sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration and positive message. Another great video!
This was so much fun, I enjoyed hearing your stories about your projects. I know the next one will be just as fun. Thanks! Janine
Enjoyed your basket! I would stitch every single one of your choices… have an awesome week!
You have lots of beautiful projects! Have fun reaching your goals.
You have a lot of great projects you will be stitching Shellie.
30 yrs ago I was a monogamous stitcher but after returning to cross stitching about a year ago and discovering floss tube I have fallen down that rabbit hole of having many WIPS - so many pretty things to stitch that I can't help myself- I made myself a WIPGO board so I will see how that works out for me -happy stitching this year
I’m having. To deal with shingles not many of my friends do needlework, needlepoint but found cross stitch so that’s mainly what I deal with and like.
Very cold here in Columbus also
Such a fun visit and I added a few charts to my wish list!!!!
Darn you! Now I need the quilting bee pattern. 😂 I was trying not to add anything to my list.
😂😂your welcome friend😂😂
I’m stitching Dwelling Place right now in my rotation and I LOVE it!!
Miss Kay would be delighted if you got it done and found a new friend along the way. Beloved and Seven Sheep both jumped on my wishlist. They are oh so pretty! Stay warm!
I absolutely love your height board !!!
That’s exactly how everyone should do it- tailored to you!!!!
Autocorrect hit my response that was to say HEIFR
What a fun story!!!
I like the Lord’s Prayer chart
Just found you and now I don’t feel bad that I have 3 baskets of WIPs !
Thank you for this video Shellie, I enjoyed rifling through your basket with you. Now, can you help me find my Cohana snips? I only noticed they were missing this morning and they are just so tiny, they could be anywhere
Oh darn!!! I would definitely help if I was near😊
Hi Shellie !! Crazy question...what is a heifer board? Love love love your flosstubes.
It is just like wipgo but the letters are HEIFR- it’s the brainchild of The floss bossin cousins. They have a Facebook group as well to compliment. If you go and watch their videos they explain in detail
Thank you !!
Oh cousin!!! I just love you! And all your BEAUTIFUL projects!
Look
It up on line - you’ll see it instantly.
Our guild did a lecture on them.
@@antiqueneedleworkers thank you for the explanation 😊 Can't wait to see how it turns out.
