Hi Mike, I am almost 22 years old, and I have been training for three years, completely independently. I'm Italian, and I have been aware of your channel for about 1 year.
I love your desire to do, to travel. I mirror myself in your desire to improve, to change and to overcome more and more frontiers. Your spirit of fun almost eclipses the intensity you put into your workouts and the blood you shed to achieve one of the most beautiful physiques I've ever seen.
I started following you because of my passion for English and bodybuilding. Today I was only following your vlog...until the part of the video where you talk about how good you are on your own, with yourself, being a lone wolf, a sigma male, how this gives you the time and opportunity to reflect, to travel, to overcome yourself. At this point, I was no longer following the vlog; it started to mean something different.
The level of class you put into your workouts, the desire to open yourself up to new stuffs, the way you reconcile all of this, with investing in yourself, how you always put in so much holiday-style serenity, but how you especially do so much work. Out of all your successes and failures you have created an extraordinary life. Your passion is your life, and YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE, AND ANYONE ELSE.
I just wanted to say that all of this, makes me realise what kind of person I wanna be.

Having a kid with a woman you love and actively raising them is the best experience in the world. Nothing compares imo. Mike is definitely missing out. Hope he finds the right woman because he will probably be an outstanding father.
i will say for the young lads - NEVER skip a proper warm up. too many people skipping warm ups because they're too eager to train. no matter how short you are on time, by warming up not only will you have a better mind muscle conneciton and thus a better workout, you will prevent injuries. I've been trianing injury free for the past 7 years because of this (and like Mike mentioned proper form/not ego lifting)

Having kids is hard, picking the right partner is so much more important than any other decision you’ll ever make.

@@piedpiper1201 i disagree. i grew in the slums of london and was lucky to have a strong mum and nan support me. family unit is everything, i would argue a strong family unit in a poor area will raise kids better than a weak family unit in a rich area.
If they grow up to survive all the nastys that go with growing up In a slum
@@tommygunTW1 nothing to do with rich vs poor actually most rich areas are not the best as there is limited opportunities, especially for sports
@@piedpiper1201 It really depends. yeah it's not about wealth. problem in many countries is that poorer areas also have very bad social culture (UK is an example) leading to poor kids becoming stereotypical uneducated people. So the important thing is not have the poverty culture rub off on your kids.
Travelling alone and spending time on your own becomes addictive actually full freedom.

I’m 33 Mike 34 this year with 2 kids 3 and 1 life changes a lot but there is still lots of fun and good times to be had, it just means that you have less time for yourself but you can still get things done

Then, she goes dark and silent again and does not ever bother a real man at work. Mike wants quiet reflective lass, most modern woman should not apply.

I love watching these vlogs so much. They inspire me to work hard and get through the shit so that soon I'll be able to experiences these places and live my dream life.
By the way, kids will turn your Life around ....make sure you understand that fully. No more sleep, no more freedom....its a 24-7 job. I had my daughter when I was 35. It was the greatest experience , and of course still is...but being an entrepreneur myself, as well as my girlfriend , it was not easy. We both worked from home in the beginning, so I had all the time to enjoy my daughter growing up. But its hard the first few years, dipers, sleep, and entertaining, teaching your child every day. ...Now she is 12 and now come the bigger issues, school, etc. So be sure you want them and make sure you are with a partner you can talk about anyhting with her, you share same interests and also be able to be by yourself and that she can have her own time. I am 17 years together with my partner, not married , and we are almost always been working from home together, and if she wants to go somehwere I just say bye! and vice versa...you need to be able to give each other complete freedom and trust her fully.

I lived in Marbella for 4.5 years, this brings back some memories as I spent long periods out there living on my own rattling around. I even bought an apartment similar to the one in this video which turned out to be the worst investment ever!

@EE_2104 buying property in Spain has many pitfalls and is expensive both when you buy and sell. I'd never buy there again.
Best off renting so you’re not tied to one spot in my opinion.

I'm also 33 years old and recently, I've definitely noticed as I've gotten older I enjoy more of "me" time or time to myself. Also, dated a girl same age as me and she said she also enjoys being alone more as she has gotten older, so I think it's a common experience
