Asia I wanted to take this time to thank you for each and everything you’ve done for us I just got IELTS results and I passed with good band score . Before I did the exam I used to come in the comment section to read what people wrote about how they succeeded then I used to think that they were capping but they weren’t you really help lots of people. I got a 8.5 in reading myself but teaching students to get a same score is a whole different story! I've been feeling so frustrated and hopefully this video could be an inspiration!

Hi Asiya. How are you. All of your videos are extremely important for every candidates who are preparing for exam. This video is useful as well. Matching heading questions are challenging. During the video I have practiced reading questions like you. I have found two answers of three questions. I think these results aren't bad.
I learnt more from your videos about reading
I have corrected all three, just with you advice
2 answers were more correct but last one which had i choosen 2(ii) & 7(vii). I goes with 2(ii) because through the general idea it might be about reduction of traffic but I was wrong

But I have a question: can a single paragraph match more than 1 heading? If no, then it will help to cross out both the paragraph and headings that have been matched to reduce the number of paragraphs to be read while trying to match the remaining headings.

In the third question, can the first answer also be correct? When a driver breaks a little in the fast lane, it causes a shock wave of vehicles slowing down - which is "smaller changes in traffic can result in bigger effects just as in nature"?
Hello Asiya, here's my question regarding Matching Headings. Can two answers be in one paragraph?
For example: can heading 1 and 3 answers be in the same paragraph/statement?
i have an important question and my exam is on friday
my name contains non english letters ( these letteres can not be pronounced in english in the sameway as my native language ) so when i introduce my self shall i say my name as it's originally sounds or try to say it as if an native english person would speek ?????? please help

Hi , I have question🙋 if I choose computer based exam, I know they reading exam provided on computer but they give paper also? Means question on paper? , I ask this question bcz I face difficulty to read question and mark them on computer? Even may time in listening module I face this same, when map are chart is on screen and question is below to it's difficult to coordination between two things, bcz sreen only show map either question, so plz answer me if I'll go with computer based then they provide any paper based question sheet?

Hi I'm sorry to tell you this , The answer you mentioned and the key given for the answers in the idp website are different, only one answer is correct. I'm confused if what you told is right or idp is correct.

You might not belive that but I answered all of those 3 questions correctly! I did not the task to be that easy since I have seen lots of passages with matching heading questions which I could not actually answer many of them!
For A long time I can't improve my result i had a problem on Matching headings I think it's harder than the other what should I do i've done a lot of works but it hasn't improved

Hi Asiya! How are ya?
I had a speaking test today.
My orevious speaking scores were:
7.0 in 2020 march
8.0 in 2021 july
And today I felt way better about my soeaking than in July. I was more fluent and confident and I was just very naturally calm and everything was good. But i made two mistakes:
I mispronounced two words:
Reciprocal and Monotonous
I put the wrong stress. But the rest of the speaking was perfect literally.
Do u think that I might still have a chance of getting 8.5 in this part or should i not expect that bcs of those two mistakes?
Not to brag but i think i gotta say my pronunciation is literally perfect only those two mistakes pls tell me🙏🙏🙏🙏

2/3 correct. find structure of the passage. This headings test is nightmare to me. Thanks to your help, I get better now. Hoping I can find something more like this video on this topic to help me overcome this challenge.
Read title > read all headings, highlight, analzye keywords, . read 1st pararaphah (not try to undersatnad 100%, general idea, cross out already answered, ? !, write both asnerew, move on, go all that comeback, frame the whole passages, traqnsfer to answer sheet, not exact words

Let's say for the sake of argument we have 5 paragraphs A, B, C, D, F, E, and 9 options. By reading the options than reading the paragraphs you tend to waste valuable time! Let me explain:
If you were to read the first heading and then start going through the paragraphs you may or may not find your answer up until you reach the last paragraph 'E' meaning you wasted time reading 4 paragraphs without assigning them to their proper headings. One way or the other, you are going to go through the options. As for the paragraphs, that is not necessary if you play smart -you must! Hence, logically speaking by reading the paragraphs first and then looking for the fitting heading you don't have to read as much. Reading just one line, which is the heading is much more optimal unlike re-reading an entire paragraph. Does anyone agree with what I have just said?
