Thanks for another great video! I would love to see a video of you comparing the 3 Latitude saddles you have done videos on. The Method 2, Maverick, and Lonestar.

That’s a great idea! Not sure I’ll get to it before the end of the year but would make a great off season video.

Do you have a link to the pouch your hoist is in? I can't seem to find one. Thanks

I’m sitting right at the size break from the normal to xl. Would it be better you think to get the bigger one and have some extra wiggle room or should I run the normal size to prevent too much loose material.

Good question. I'd probably choose the larger size so when you layer for late season, it isnt too tight. My guess is you could always send it back and swap it for the smaller size if it ended up being way too big.

I am in the same situation as you and just ordered the XL. Hope it’s not too big. I live and Michigan so in the late season I think the XL will be the right choice for me.

@@nickdedeluk8584 I guess once you add in bulky clothing, yeah, the xl makes more sense. Thanks!

      Probably the right move!

I have the method 2 xl and wear a 38 in most jeans. It fits and will work but at times I feel like I can't get it tight enough. Once I start hanging sticks i feel like it starts to sag. If I had an option like the loneatar to add a traditional belt I think it would help. I haven't tried it in winter clothing but in south Texas that won't happen often.

If you had to choose do you prefer the method 2 or the lonestar? Looking to purchase my first saddle and have found your content to be very informative!!

The Maverick is honestly what I’ve been running the most. It’s there one I find most comfortable!

Look into buzzard roost and custom gear modifications as well! CGM is also very affordable but super high quality and great owners

Hey man, love your channel ever since i found it. You have a ton of great content! I just bought a Lonestar saddle, and it came with 2 black pieces about 10 inches long. Are those for anything in particular? I thought after seeing this video maybe they were for the hip pinch reduction system. Any feedback on what they could be? I couldn't find anything on latitudes website about it.

Those are the pieces to help prevent hip pinch. They go vertical by the lineman loops. He shows where they go @ 1:40

Really appreciate all the info you share on this channel. Stoked to hunt in a saddle for the first time this season.
Quick question… all things being equal, what do you consider to be the ideal hunting height for your platform? Practicing in the backyard, I’m at about 15’6”… considering adding a second aider to get up a few more? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Glad you find the videos helpful! That height is right in the sweet spot. I always like the option to go higher if the situation calls for it but it’s all about cover in my opinion.

Tried my lone star. Couldn’t get comfortable in it. The top and bottom bands are so thick it couldn’t conform to my body. The rope belt was a huge miss for me. The quality is there for sure. But the comfort wasn’t.
