Serene Aquarium LED Kit - Programming Timer B Mode

- Timer B Mode allows you to program the Serene LED aquarium light with daily Sunrise, Daylight, Sunset and Moonlight. In addition, the background light and audio can also be programmed to run daily scenes along with Daylight.
Serene’s Timer B program consists of four photoperiods:
Sunrise - 15min ramp into a 1 hour color spectrum, followed by 15min ramp to Daylight
Daylight - color spectrum runs until OFF time is reached. (Background light & audio optional.)
Sunset - 15min dim into a 1 hour color spectrum, followed by 15min dim to Moonlight
Moonlight - runs a color spectrum for 6 hrs., then turns off
I can tell you this much. I have never had such an smooth and easy warranty matter like I had with Current USA. The Bluetooth Loop System is hands down the best pump and lighting system I have used. The customer service exceeded even my greatest expectations. I'm not buying any other brand now. If Current USA sells it, I want it!

In Timer B mode - Is there a way to program "moonlight to be less than 6 Hours, as well as program the sunset time?
Just received this setup with my Serene 65 Tank from Current. Love it thus far, but could you provide me with any suggestions/examples of spectrums for each of the Timer B settings? I have a lightly planted tank, but want to also be able to recreate some of the looks in this video, but an example sheet of what each RGB+W spectrum should be would be AWESOME! There doesn't seem to be much information online with examples. Also, you mentioned you all dim the sunlight one, but have the normal sunlight as part of your sunrise/sunset...What would those settings be? That's the kind of info I'm looking for, so I can make some dramatic scenes as in this video and on the pictures on your website. Thanks!!

Hello Is there a way on Timer B to end up with everything off at the end of the cycle or evening? I owned the 72" version a couple years ago and it was easy to have the thing dim up and go all day and then dim down and off. But to my shock this one is driving me crazy and three days now and have to turn off and on manually which was not what I thought this would be like? Any help would be appreciated....************* Think solved in the manual did not show moonlight Hours... Looks like at 11:00pm as default should go off.
I can't figure out how to reset to factory setting. I have tried multiple times to set from sunrise to sunset. i can't get it to work... i have called current so many times no response. this is the worst ever. i just might have to purchase the AI lights.
So can the background be programmed to mimic a 24h cycle? Example- moonlight blue- to red than red to orange and then orange to cyan than cyan to orange than orange to red and then red to moonlight blue and then off?
@Ike Eigenbrode how did you get the background to run during the night? I only see the option for the background and sound to be on only during daylight.
@@cal3178 We actually program our Sunrise/Sunset color spectrum to be Bright Daylight - but during the day run the aquarium light Daylight spectrum at a dimmer color (almost moonlight.) This has a more dramatic effect and really shows off the colors on the cichlids. It also cuts down on maintenance.
I love the light but is there a way to make the background light slowly ramp up for the sunrise. And are you planning to make a app or Bluetooth add on for this light kit.
Yes, the wifi/Bluetooth version will have this function and will be launched in a few months.

Yes, you can turn it off - or program your sunset duration to be moonlight.
Hmmm.... Custom audio needed. Bluetooth needed. App/PC controller needed, wifi direct perhaps. Expand it w a Raspberry pi, run linux, and set it on FIRE!!! Nice work guys n gals! Congrats!

This is got to be the worst light ever. And that includes customer support. you call and email and no one calls when they say they are going to. I can not get my light to program. I have tried multiple times and i continue to look at how to reset and i can't find that information. I just may have to go back to AI they are the best lights. If anyone can let me know how to reset and program from sunrise to sunset. 11am-8pm that would be great.
I can't figure it out either . mu old Current likgt has a nice built in sunrise to sunset setting, this B mode doesn't seem to work
