The large ‘bomb’ is indeed an external 73 imperial gallon drop tank that could be jettisoned. The increased mileage was a bonus, but because of the material used for construction of the aircraft plus the lack of armour plate, meant that a good close range burst could easily set the aircraft on fire.
At 13:57 it looks like the top limiter switch on the right is still unplugged from its local lifter limiter pcb. You may want to check that all the other limiter cables are plugged in correctly as well
Hello. Wanted to post this comment, EVEN THOUGH I am waiting for the Zero Pack 12 to arrive here in California. I am waiting to watch YOUR video later. I'm going to bring up something interesting, it is just ONE of the items from your Amazon store...the magnifying glasses. They are truly great, and I've used others. BUT? My "fat head" caused mine to break near the right temple. I was using it, on and off, as spectacles. Anyway, a bit of epoxy ingenuity and using the elastic headband instead?? Now, I'm "right as rain"....(a 'Young Frankenstein' reference of course). Anyhow? Carry on, AND always remember author Douglas Adams' motto? "Don't Panic!". (Hitchhiker's Guide, of course).
Just as an FYI with the circular batteries the first two numbers are the diameter in mm, so 20mm, and the second two the depth in tenths of a mm, so 25 or 2.5 mm. The most common, used in watches and computers are 2032s :)
Hello there. My "heads up" after competing my Agora Zero. The decals. OK, let's be clear, these decals aren't like what you'd usually find in another kit. They don't "float". I mean, put them down where you want them to stay!!! Also, if you are a scale modeler, you already know about decal setting solutions. These decals are thick, but I used several applications of Micro-Sol to help them hug down. Finally, a few other things:. Be careful of the delicate parts!!! I cannot emphasize this enough. I am planning to order another kit from Agora, not just this one. Currently working on Titanic and Jaguar, for what is it's worth...
I think that the "middle bomb" is in fact a 'Drop Tank' these were extra fuel tanks, that fighter aircraft used to cary to extend their flight range, and when empty they could be 'droped' hence 'Drop tank'! Re the USB cable that you have ordered, why don't the supply one with the kit?
Wayne - I am waiting for pack 12 now. I have had trouble with decals in the past with other models. I would appreciate it if you would show how you apply the MANY decals for this model. Thanks
Use luke warm water first. Down load the instructions or read the the decaling instructions. Use a Q-tip and moisten the area where you will place the decal, that will help the decal slide around until it is lined up. There's actually a guide line on the wings fuselage and tail! Then, take a dry Q-tip and roll it across the decal until it is smooth and dry. I would not recommend setting solution because I don't know how these decals we react. Let dry. I'm waiting on Pack 12 too.
Hi Wayne the instructions don't tell you what the operating voltage is so I asked Agora and they set it at 4.5v to 5v. Pity you couldn't fly today but its looking great anyway. 👌
Did you find the part that was missing from the right aileron? This is a massive model, where are you going to put it? It's a real shame the Ecto 1 won't be completed, that was my favourite of all the car builds. The Centreline thing you called a bomb is actually a 300 gallon drop tank to increase the planes effective range.
@@WorldofWayneUK It's good you found it. I was going to say if you needed one I could scratch built one if you sent me an image of the other one with the correct dimensions and I'd have painted it the correct colour too. Scratch building is my thing. I make all kinds of things from figures of pilot's to my own designs. I'm making lots of post apocalyptic Mad Max style vehicles and Steam Punk stuff at the moment for some fans of the genre at the moment and have more materials than I need.
Looking good! Are you going to make a diorama for the base? Disappointed that Agora only supplied 99.9% of the required electrics. Beautiful plane. Is this for your Dad?
@@WorldofWayneUK It's a beautiful plane, you did a great job as always! As soon as I find someone that I can give this to, I'd love to build it! I just don't have the room. I tried museums, but they don't accept gifts of this kind - sadly.
I don't put much faith in Agora tracking. All my t800 parts are still processing on their website. Funny thing is, I finished the model back in April. Go firgure.
The Spitfire had a rack and pinion gear system which kept jamming and causing all sort of Problems. The limiter switchers were very cheap as well. This model uses a clever cam which is just a motor spinning and a cam attached to the end. If I have learnt something over the last few months the simpler you can make it the more likely it will Work lol
i have the hachette bmw m3 gtr i must of had it about 12 years now this year i decided to finish building it but when i got it out of the box i stored it in all 3 belts had perished and it took me ages to find replacement belts 😆😆 and i all so have the Hachette Build The Bismarck Model Kit from 2007 all so i have not finished either .
I could see someone buying Eaglemoss what with the number of deals they have going with studios to produce models. They may have been poorly run as a company but in better hands to monetise these deals someone could be successful there. I think a lot of companies would love to have a foot through the door with companies like MGM & CBS/Paramount and a few others and with Eaglemoss they have that.
Eaglemoss business model was based on 120 issues and a lot of subscriber’s. If Eaglemoss couldn’t make this work it’s extremely difficult to see how anyone else with the remaining issues could make a profit. That’s setting aside the ill fitting windows, the light leaks, more batteries than Duracell and no one knows how the saucer fits. I think we’d all like it to happen, but it’s just not feasible
I had a battery here for the remote. I removed one from the RGB light remote I had but I only had USB C cables here and no where local has them. It had enough power to get it working though. I posted it on my World of Wayne Facebook channel

I had to hunt for the video, but it was worth the effort. i love when all the wiring comes together
Really looks far better and sturdier than the Spitfire. Let's hope it all works!
Zero is finished, good building
The base alone looks pretty sophisticated and the plane looks great, I hope that everything works and not the same fiasco as the Spitfire
I posted a short vid on social media if it working
Epic week Wayne! 😀👍
That base is far better than the Spitifre base Wayne, great build and video

That's a fantastic fighter plane the Japanese Zero fighter. As seen in pearl harbor. I like this plañe

Yep. They all got
Plugged in. I had a test flight on social media
brilliant build put the spitfire to shame
I liked and enjoyed this video of this fighter plane👍

Ahhhhh I never knew this. Thanks Julian
@@WorldofWayneUK Pity Agora used 2025s. 2032s are easier to source as they're much more common.
What are these batteries used for in the model?
