Shoot, edit, snack, upload, shoot, snack, upload, snack... all while keeping focus on all the action at hand. Literally. Got to meet larry on the roof at Daytona! Talked for a minute before we both went back to shooting. But he made it a point to come back over when he was leaving to say it was nice to meet us. Great guy.

It always surprises me how friendly they all seem to be with each other, there seems to be very little competition/rivalry.
We all push each other very hard to get the best photos possible.
Everyone wants to be like everyone else, not competing but more as I wanna be like that guy. What can I learn

i would go for LeMans, Pikes Peak, Dakar, Goodwood, and any Race in Australia and South America :P
24 Hours of Le Mans for sure. 24 Hours of Lemons is a close second heh.

Hee. Nice to see more people with car/photo interests crossing over. (Incidentally, those rubber-band-looking bracelets that were faddish about ten years ago are pretty good for holding cards or whatever you may need to use for a lens hood extension/shelter. (As long as they can actually fit on a given lens. )
The slideshow scenes with the quality racing audio & subtle shutter gun seriously should be a 40 hour long video, play that fire to my hypothetical infant child while he in the womb

Saaame. At Lime Rock Park this weekend I guess the consensus was Corvette Racing just couldn't keep up? Ford took the win for their first time this year outpacing Porsche right near the end. Porsche is my GTLM team, but it'll be sweet to see Corvette and Ford be more competitive with each other to get to the podium.

Who makes the hat with the I large neck shield that you wear at various tracks. Is this hat waterproof.
I would be curious on how much open your lens are in those shots, like how much you need to have the car completely on focus on those shots where the car is coming at you at 3/4 angle
