The yellow and blue looks so good and lightens up the whole room! The hutch backing is very clever and so pretty ❤😊
Glad you like it!
Love everything about this room. The light yellow walls make me happy!
Me too! Thanks for commenting.
Love the yellow pillows on the couch !!!
Me too!
I feel as if the season hasn't been properly welcomed until the china cabinet at the Stone Cottage has been redecorated ☺ And I *love* the idea of a sisal rug in the front room!
Thanks for you sweet comment
You are so clever, Lauri, using the fabric to lighten up the back of your china cabinet! You don't even notice the wrinkles when it is decorated, and it looks beautiful! I love the yellow and blue combination, too!
Oh thank you!
Love the look of the China cabinet. The whole room looks so fresh and springlike. Just beautiful!!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Since I have a cobalt navy camel back sofa.. my go to for spring is always blue and yellows. They blend beautifully. Your china cabinet is gorgeous , with all your curated treasures. And as for the sisal rug... in the summer you can go much smaller as bare floors are the airy look for the season , with the sisal accent in the center for texture and lightness.
Love blue and yellow together (just in case you hadn't noticed).
@@stonecottageadventures304 I'm redecorating the guest room. Walls are a soft yellow. Furniture has been painted white. Quilt on the bed has a white background with cobalt blue leaves and small flowers. Pillows on bed will be in all kinds of blue and white patterns, plus a sold yellow one. There will be a white, lace curtain on the window and the drapes that close will be in yellow, blue and white stripes. Your video on mixing patterns was a great help.
Love how you’ve decorated! Your home is lovely! Happy Spring! 🌹🌸🌺🌷
Thank you so much!
Very pretty, the cabinet looks great. I like the crystal.
Since I lived in Evergreen for over 30 years, I have to ask where you are in CO.
Spring has sprung at your house. Well done! I LOVE the hand pained leaf dish with the pink flowers.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful cabinet decor! Love it when you decorate this piece!
Thanks so much! 😊
I love the butterflies! 🦋
I have kept my eyes open for years, hoping to find dead butterflies on the ground.
lovely as always. Love the livingroom and bedroom.
Thanks so much! 😊
i love to hear about each item from family members such a beautiful collection you have from your family
You are so kind
Beautifully decorated china cabinet and very beautiful home. Your living room looks so inviting!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks for watching!
My favorite saying is “More is not always better, sometimes it’s just more”, but you have the magic touch to make things perfect! Loved your video!
Love that!
I have been buying from Fabric Guru for years as well! They and Fabric Warehouse have very good selections. Love your decor and your beautiful home. ❣️
Yes! Thank you!
Love this that color of yellow is my favorite
I have always loved yellow!
New to your channel and I love your decorating style. So warm and welcoming. You are very talented. I love your corner hutch. Seasonal decorating is something I’ve always enjoyed along with tablescaping and gardening. Great idea with the China cabinet. I also have the Autumn pattern and it is a lovely pattern. ❤❤❤
Thanks for subbing!
Beautiful I did mine the same way. It’s like we copy each other plan. It’s just right glad to see someone has my taste.
Beautiful
Thank you
i love your home ...it feels so inviting .. and comfy and cozy
Thanks so much! 😊
I have my mother’s lenox Autumn. I mix it with Eternal
How lucky for you to have pieces of your grandmother's and family pieces! My mom had very few things and nothing from my dad's family as they were very poor! Enjoy decorating. It's so satisfying!😊
Thanks for sharing!!
The painted dish with pink blossoms - it really looks three dimensional, doesn't it? At least, on the screen here. So pretty. Everything looks very pretty.
Thanks for commenting

I’m glad you’re back. I missed your common sense decorating ideas.
More to come!
Beautiful! You sure have lovely pieces that were passed down to lucky you!💞
I think so too!
Perhaps lace would like nice in the cabinet to cover wood. Maybe a bit much but to pin it up in such a way it's light and can be used again . Just a thought.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Hi loving the colours yellow and blue we don't get all the seasons where i am only two seasons wet and dry Wet when it's very hot then rains for weeks and high humidity then Dry it cools down to 25 c that's cold for us lol so love watching all the seasons and decore ...top of Australia 🦘 .💛
Thanks for sharing
Your home is beautiful. I have a vintage break front dish cabinet that is a dark wood. I use scrape book paper to lighten up the back. It looks great and I can change it out when I want a different look. 😊
Grest idea
🌸👍
Instead of greenery by the poetry books I would wrap the books in twine with a bow or just loosely knotted.. But i'm more farmhouse country
The twine is definitely farmhouse style.
Nice video. What color paint is on your wall. I really like it?
Walls - Sherwin Williams Blonde. Trim - Sherwin Williams Dover White
I've heard sisal rugs "shed" a lot! Don't do it. If anything, get a thin lighter colored rug and just lay it on top, like a Ruggable. But honestly,, I would leave it.
Thanks for your comment
It’s clear you love your home. That’s wonderful. Too many items, for my taste. Brain overload. I’d probably take half of it away
Some people enjoy a calm, minimalist space. Others like a stimulating, maximalist space. Choosing our own look is one of the luxuries of life.
Too much pretty things - this looks like those boutique in small Australian towns where i always find something to bring home.
A crochet center pieces, hand mirror, viktorian photo album, old dangling earrings -little things like that.
As my private home with all those pretty things … not really.
We all have our own personal style, which makes life so much more interesting!
