Hey man, I’m a commercial sales rep for Penske and I can definitely see what you are talking about with the doubles of the box truck market. I have a unique perspective from the supply side of trucks and would really like to have a conversation with you if possible . Let me know
Every year these video creators ask is it a good time to start a business you can't stop a person who has done his due diligence those are the ones who succeed
Huge difference, however same concept, you don’t want to rely on the load boards alone. Reefer Box Trucks can also pick up some dry freight too so definitely has an upper hand. Thanks for bringing that up!
If you are planning to travel more than 150 miles then yes you must have an ELD connected to the truck, and yes you must always stop at any weigh station if you’re operating a commercial vehicle which is any vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs or more. It also may vary depending on the state, but to be safe he’s always stop at a weigh station.
I’m a little confused on the driving without a CDL part. Can I have a truck that weighs 26,000 lbs GVWR and still tow 10,000 lbs or less? Or does the tow weight and vehicle weight have to be under 26,000 lbs together?
Non CDL vs CDL is determined by the commercial vehicles’ GVWR or the GVWR of the vehicle and trailer combined. Anything under 26,000 you can operate with a regular license. Anything above requires class B or class A
Hey! You’ll be surprised some of these Box Trucks are essentially in the same price range as a day cab. Shoot us an email we may be able to help you out!
I agree, UNLESS you orchestrate the right game plan. The Box Truck game in regard to spot market freight is absolutely saturated, but there are many other ways to make money in the Box Truck game besides load boards and Amazon Relay.

@@covenantdispatchllc7644 ive heard the cons are….higher operating cost, smaller box width, amazon relay and other companies wont take reefer box trucks???
Hey bro, many greetings! with that non-cdl box truck you also have to use an electronic book and you have to go to the weighing points?

But if you pass the weight of the gvwr limit for 26 foot you can get in trouble. Your not licensed to carry the weight
O have CDL and the loads are way better
You can get expensive loads
I believe it!
Is it hard to get loads when u first start out ?
It’s not hard necessarily finding loads it’s more hard to land a carrier
Hi,
