What are the levels of drywall finish?

So I can put up the drywall then fill in screw holes and tape on joints primer then paint? No skim needed?

So the short answer is yes, but it wouldn’t be a terribly aesthetically pleasing final product, but it should satisfy fire code.

@everett smith, if you don’t really care how smooth the walls are then yes. If you want the walls to at least look decent then, no, you cannot just tape and paint.

You need to at least put 2 coats on if you’re a decent ‘finisher’. Otherwise, hire a pro instead
