This week, I watched "Free Solo" and "The Rescue" on Disney+. Both films were recommended by various people. Jimmy Chun and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi find interesting characters. In one BTS interview they talked about potential issues with one character before they started the documentary. It was an interesting discussion about knowing the character well enough to commit and trusting the relationship.
Thanks for uploading this! I’m literally walking out the door for my first in person meet with a potential doc character. I found out he rides bmx and since I skateboard, I suggested we meet up at the skatepark to push around. No camera or big expectations. Hoping to get some good data out of this meet while keeping it casual.
