Hey Ari. Let me explain something real quick. You asked why Sasuke wasn't seeking help from Naruto and Kakashi and the village. If you can recall from the first arc with Zabuza, do you remember what should happen when a Ninja deserts his village? Sasuke right now is a rogue ninja and by right, he should be hunted and eliminated. So even if Sasuke felt like he wanted their help he would know better than to go back to the village and try to talk to anyone, because he will be arrested, at least that is what is supposed to happen.
If you consider everyone that infiltrated Konoha just to target Sasuke, you could argue he's actually helping protect the Leaf by leaving town. His goals even align with the village except he can't seek their help in order to execute his plan. There are some things in life that everyone must do for themselves...to automatically demonize anyone who deviates from the beaten path is often just an excercise in ignorance. To expand, anime stories in general stem from efforts to spread empathy and understanding because that's just a tenet of Asian culture hence all the backstories and internal monologue. Asians do not try to paint everyone either black or white like Americans do which is why it's interesting to see whether that light bulb turns on or not. Honestly though, you could sample anime reactions on YT as a case study to demonstrate how shallow and brainwashed most American kids are. The majority of these reactors still try to foster hate and be as judgmental as possible despite the lessons of humanity repeatedly told in these anime stories they "love". Corrupt kids often grow into corrupt adults...it's been disappointing to observe.
Tobi should receive some special award for his special distinction among the Akatsuki and also for the sympathy of the viewers. And Karin some anti-award, she is terribly irritating. And of course Aillincia award for cutest smile reaction.😊
