Happy Saturday Stauffer Garage Crew! Forgot to mention in the end what the $100 bill was for at the beginning! It was my way of saying thank you to the owner for letting me detail his truck and hope the surprise makes his day!

Is it just me, or does anyone else appreciate the awesome upholstery from this era? Just seems so much more plush and higher quality. There’s no way upholstery in modern vehicles will ever last 20+ years and still look this good!

It is the truth. Been detailing for years and it used to be that the newer the car the cleaner it would be. But now, the newer the car the shittier the carpet is, the longer it takes. Like the soft side of Velcro now a days

This GMC Sierra is a darn good truck. This older example that was kept unwashed in storage took a lot of work to clean and restore to its original look and luster. Really nicely nice with good attention to the detail. Really love the seat cleaning and buffing of the clear coat to restore its shine. Well done.

One thing I love to do after I'm done shampooing/extracting is apply a couple very generous coats of Scotchgard (after everything has dried). Then future spills tend to be much easier for the owner to clean up themselves as they don't really soak in very well.

DUDE! The effort you put into that work. I'm speechless. I'd pay good money for a fraction of that work. I wanted to see the clean engine but oh well. That vet needs all terrain tires and a good song playing. Great job. No; best job I've ever seen ANYONE do on a ride and as a gift to someone so deserving. Hats off to you broskie. And that drill brush is on my Walmart list! God bless you man

LQQKS like 102,000 miles - I'm surprised there does not seem to be a single tear or wear on the cloth seats.

It is a rarity. I have a 96 gmc Sierra 1500 with 243xxx on the clock. I have light gray seats, and not a thin spot anywhere. They still have a ton of support in the foam as well.

What a truck. That thing belongs in a museum. If you can find others like it and do the same level of cleanup... there's money to be made! Nice work!!

I hate how he calls a K1500 a “Car”. It’s referred to as a “Sexy Beast”

That truck is in incredible condition from the looks of it. I wonder how well it runs? Still, being that old I bet it is easy to work on. Finding a body and interior in that condition is incredible!
