  • Round Gold American Eagle gold coin pendants now available on Jacoje.com! These aren't the cheaply made ones either. The PAMP pendants have been popular so I decided to expand the fine gold line with the rounds. I feel they offer a classic look being round. I love the design as well. If you want to step your purity game up, go with one of these. Shop Jacoje!

    I forgot to mention the chains:
    Featured on the 1/10 oz is the 1.2MM Franco. 1/4 oz is on the 1.5MM Franco and the 1/2 oz is on a 2.5MM FRANCO. That’s the same for the website as well.

    As someone who collects silver and gold I love your jewelry and love you added this option. While I understand you have to make your money on these i pieces my 1/2oz AGE pendant was sourced separately with the coin and pendant and went with a gold rope pendant. It was much cheaper but still glad to see you add these options.

    For these pendants people your getting taxed. On APMEX today with gold at $1700 an ounce, I got a 8gram .9999 2019 sealed brilliant uncirculated Golden Panda for $480 and the 22mm bezel for $120 before visa debit card fees bringing it to $625. Jacoje if you’re gonna start incorporating jewelry with bullion at least be more transparent with the cost of the bullion at the current market value and also list the total gold content when you have two metals with different carats. Man I can’t pretend to know your overheads or pricing when it comes to your custom jewelry, and I hardly know shit about diamonds. But I know my bullion products, especially coins and bars because I own them for a hedge against inflation and for instances like what the world is going through now. Plus I make own PERSONAL bullion jewelry like the coin/ screw top bezel combo just purchased today as well as pieces I have taken to a jeweler to get permanently set for an extremely reasonable price. Jacoje your prices are so damn high on these coin and bar pieces, I don’t see how you can go start rising the price since gold has been going up when you’re already taxing the hell out of everyone who buys these coin and bar pendants from you. People don’t let him tax you when all he does is go on the same bullion websites you can go to APMEX, JM Bullion, SDBullion. www.jmbullion.com/2020-1-4-oz-american-gold-eagle-coin/. There’s a 1/4 oz gold eagle listed around $500, it’s has 7.776 grams of pure gold in the coin with a total weight of 8.397 grams because it is a 22kt coin Jacojes pendant with the same EXACT coin costs $1300 and has a “total gold weight” of 12.5 grams. When listing total gold weight of a product with two different carats you put the weight of the actual gold. The TOTAL GOLD Weight is 10.169 of Pure Gold. jacoje.com/collections/pendants/products/copy-of-1-10-oz-american-gold-eagle-plain-1?variant=30997190377535..........12.5-8.397=4.103 of 14kt gold then in the setting/ bezel whatever you call it. So remember because it’s 14kt there is only 2.393 grams of gold ($130.8 value as of today since gold hit $1700!) in the setting. So your saying the setting that has only 2.393 grams of gold (worth $130.8) is worth $800!!!!! I understand getting paid for labor, but when you can buy the exact same coin for $500 and he’s charging $1300 just to take said coin and put it in a setting with barely 2.4g of pure gold in it is absolutely ridiculous. It is such a simple task to mount a coin, he does the same thing with small gold bars from the bullion websites. He sells a pendant with a 5g 24kt gold bar (worth $300) and a 4 gram 14kt frame worth $125 in gold for $750!!!!!!!! When it comes to making an entirely custom piece I cannot pretend to know more about the cost associated with that than him. I barely know anything about stones or how they should be priced. But as someone who has accumulated numerous gold coins and bars over the years I know what I’m talking about, especially when referring to this kind of jewelry. I thinks it’s price gouging what Jacoje is doing on. It’s like paying someone $700 just to assemble a $600 piece of furniture. Charging $700 to set a coin with a simple “Jocoje” engraving on the setting seems a little steep buddy. With bullion jewelry people have a much better understanding of your materials cost SO STOP TAXING SO HARD! I guarantee he does not get some special deal on coins because he is not a bullion dealer, and I’f he is is he obviously isn’t passing the savings down to his clients. Plus man with the price of gold just reaching $1700 your inventory has become so much more valuable!!! Dude I enjoy your videos, but when I checked your prices man I was really disappointed in you man. You have no brick and mortar store, you run your business from home and have built a successful channel/business so you have multiple streams of income but still have higher markups than some luxury boutiques. Where do you order your bullion from buddy 🤔? STOP TAXING SO HARD JOCOJE BEFORE YOU LOOSE CUSTOMERS AND STIFLE THE GROWTH OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!

    • @jacoje
      @jacoje  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you do know what you’re talking about when it comes to bullion but not jewelry. Take a coin or bar to a jeweler for a pendant and 99% of the time it’ll come back scratched or flawed in a cheap gold setting. My frames are the best on the market and the fine gold looks exactly how it did inside the package. That’s not easy to do and it takes a lot of work. I charge for that. Again, there’s jewelers out there that’ll do it cheaper and that’s fine but with that JACOJE stamp comes with the JACOJE expectation.

    • @ThePullupselecta
      @ThePullupselecta 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JACOJE LYNX
      JACOJE LYNX your right young man. You do know more about jewelry than me. It’s your business so I would hope so. Doesn’t get it twisted...First off, just a few years ago I assisted my aunt with her accountancy business with a client/ family friend who is a the biggest jeweler in this entire region. So I know how much of his cash flow went to operating expenses went to inventory, marketing, rent, payroll as well as insurance and problems that caused securing insurance after a robbery of over $250,000 worth of Rolexes. I think you know Jacoje as a “fine jeweler” yourself your can recognize to become a the only Rolex dealer in the region says something. My jeweler here, who’s been in business since 1985, with two locations and probably 40 staff still deals with me personally when I see him. His custom jeweler made me a clean custom frame for my Perth mint I oz bar even with an custom engraving “we’ll slip another shrimp on the barbie” with Paul Hogan’s face (that’s crocodile Dundee for you youngins) on the back as well as the name of his custom/ traditional Indian jewelry business (like you do) and also the name for my Australian friend... ohhh and in 18kt... ohhh and the frame was about the same weight but more “total gold weight” because of the 18kt ohhhh and I was charged $650, engraving and all. Even on top of the $1650 for the bar 1oz bar it was $2300 altogether. $1200 less than your pendant. And trust me this man, Aarnav is a master goldsmith. I still don’t know what your referring to with “Total gold Weight” when you have a product with two different karats...Ohh yeah so I get to see my Jeweler face to face, this fifty something Indian guy who apprenticed in Kerala, kinda famous for their gold jewelry, but you probably knew that. This dude doesn’t just design in cad and use a computer aided milling machine. But Aarnav is a master engraver too. He can do that no problem but it’s pretty incredible to see him make an ornate Indian wedding jewelry with hand tools and flame. You know what’s crazy is I didn’t even have to remind them that the 24kt gold bar is a soft metal when he made my frame, it’s crazy it’s just like they knew what they were doing or something?! Nobody called your product shit Jacobe, they look nice. I respect your hustle; They are just completely overpriced. I wish you the best man, and since I’ first saw one of your old videos you look like your expanding your business and that’s awesome man. Hit me up in my inbox and I’ll be happy to get you in touch with him... maybe he can give you some pointers on how to get that price down. When dude made the ornate frame with engraving and all the script it was pretty damn quick. Maybe when you get more experience you won’t take so long on each piece and maybe your labor cost with come down. Your frames are nice but you are honestly telling me that it costs you $700 in labor to mount that coin? Most of your pieces are generic pendants I see sold all over. And the frames are just frames... a square frame with the JACOBE stamp. You maybe design some pieces in CAD but most of your stuff is outsourced correct? Cause I see those same pendants everywhere. You can talk to my friend, again he might be able to get you better wholesale prices because dude you got to change something. If your “frames are the best on the market” because “the fine gold looks exactly like it did inside of the package” and apparently “not easy to do and takes a lot of work” and “{you} charge for that”. That means the frames should be custom for that price. So you charge $700 for your labor on mounting a coin and because you didn’t scratch it, like your supposed to do, it costs $700. Watch you raise them even more since gold has gone up. I have to say though man all these historic jewelers don’t have shit on you. Maybe you could teach my jeweler how you managed to charge more for labor than for raw materials. On bullion jewelry. You’ve obviously figured out something right, charging more for labor than the actual gold in the piece, you outsource your custom design to be produced elsewhere. Like you said with the JACOBE STAMP comes with that JACOBE EXPECTATION that your work is so “hard to do” keeping he fine gold scratch free (btw Gold Eagles are not fine gold..22kt) and getting it set it comes with the expectation that labor will cost more than raw materials. But I guess you charge that because you are in the top 1% of jewelers like you said. Trapping from your parents home must be difficult too if you have to give them a percentage . Again no body is hating on your pieces they look nice.... it’s the prices that look ridiculous. Bro if I was you use the fact people are clamoring for gold charge a higher premium on bullion since physical metal it hard to come by. Use that as a selling point. Maybe sell a simple pendant. There’s the 1/10th coins man all kinds kinds of shit. If the price for the bullion jewelry is close enough to spot but of course with a nice premium people are clamoring for bullion jewelry because they view it as parking wealth in fractional gold, but is still a a functional jewelry piece. Even pendants if there reasonably priced. Are getting gobbled up all over. Go look all over the bullion websites. So no Jacobe I don’t know as much about diamonds or designing your own original design but I know about gold jewelry, how a jewelers cashflow and overheads are set up... and I’ve never seen anyone try to make such a ridiculous profit margin. And your hard work isn’t an excuse because I’ve seen a much more 18kt frame almost completed in front of me with much more detail, more gold and from a craftsmen with decades of experience as a goldsmith and is a master at engraving. And your saying you’re labor is more valuable than him? No he’s not in a third world country if your looking for some excuse why he’s reasonable. I’ll show you the invoice Mr.1% so you can see what I was billed for a fully customized frame. It’s your business man so you do you, just be honest with your clients that when their buying a $1300 pendant they know “it takes a lot of work” so much so that “{you} have to charge” $700 for labor. Is that’s what you think it’s worth, then tell your customers.

      JACOJE LYNX Honestly man. I obviously had too much time after smoking a joint with this fucking quarantine to be writing novels about why I think your coin pendants are overpriced. Like I said man your pieces look clean and I can see you genuinely care for your clients. Even if I think your taxing so hard on those pieces, after saying that I need to make sure you know that even though we disagree about something, I still wish you success man. I work in tourism and I’m not even sure when my next day of work is going to be. These times are unprecedented man, and as a man with no income right now I wouldn’t feel right if anything said affected your money. If someone took food out of my daughters mouth I would be lvivd. The pendants are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. And us arguing over what your labor costs compared to my jeweler is pedantic. I hope the coronavirus doesn’t hurt your business too bad man.... and I hope you and your family stay safe.

    1350.00 for the 1/4oz coin pendant? WTF? Dude thats 7gram of 22k so thats about 350.00 for the coin. Total weight of pendant is 12.5 so you're left with 5.5grams of 14k which is about 170.00 which is a total of 520.00 WORTH OF GOLD, but yet you are charging nearly 3x the amount of it's actual gold content.
    I will never understand why people want to buy from jewelry shops and pay 3x the price of gold, yet when you try to sell it back to the same shop they offer you 75% of the actual gold value. So this 1350.00 pendant will only get you 390.00 from the SAME SHOP or any other jewelry shop.
