I hav been listenin to this sista, for a min. She has left me in deep thought; & has opened my eyes. Thank u! for ur, interpretation, cause I no longer hav to feel out of place, with who I am. I thank Jesus for u. God bless.
I love your story, I too was raised Baptist, and then married an Apostolic preacher. I love to hear your hunger for the word. Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truths. That's the beauty of revelation in his word, the revealing, the light that suddenly turns on to know him deeper and deeper and see him and understand him, differently than the time before. God bless you sis!!!
1Co 14:34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. 1Co 14:35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. 1Ti 2:11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 1Ti 2:12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. God's holy spirit doesn't anoint our work when we rebel against God's word. It's impossible for a woman to take the pulpit and represent God.
@Notes 4 God Not really, It was a contested issue 2000 years ago when Paul wrote about it, and the problem is older than that even. Women have been in rebellion since Eve right down to the present day. Humans are in rebellion to God by their fallen nature. However, this in no way changes what God asks of us and those verses still stand in God's eyes, and if we are in subjection to God we'll pay attention to them because they are will be relevant to us. Cultural trends don't decide what Christian is. God does.
Sir Flintstone, if you really knew your God you would rephrase all that you said, not the word, but what’s really in and coming from your own heart for that’s where your meaning is for you.
@@peggydunkley7456 I know my God not only because God gave me faith in the LORD Jesus Christ, but because He also gave me His Word. Those bible verses are the mind and will of God, not my will or the will of humans. If God knew YOU, you would respect His word, and this would not even be a question, but rather, you like many women are in rebellion to God. Belief in God is submission to Him, not lawlessness. If you were one of His sheep, you would not only know what He says, you would submit to Him and we would not even be having this conversation.
