বাঙালি জাতির উৎপত্তির ইতিহাস
বাঙালি জাতির উৎপত্তি হয়েছিল আজ থেকে প্রায় ৬ কিংবা ৭ হাজার বছর আগে। বাঙালি জাতির উৎপত্তির ইতিহাস সম্পর্কে নৃবিজ্ঞানীদের ধারণা, এটি একটি মিশ্রিত বা সংকর জাতি। পৃথিবীর চারটি প্রধান নরগোষ্ঠী তথা নিগ্রীয়, মঙ্গোলীয়, ককেশীয় ও অষ্ট্রেলীয় -এই চারটি নরগোষ্ঠির প্রতিটির কোনো না কোনো শাখার আগমন বাংলায় ঘটেছিল। এরপর হাজার বছর ধরে নানা জাতির মিলনমেলা ঘটেছিল এই বাংলায়। কেউ এসেছিল বাংলা দখল করতে আবার কেউ এসেছিল বাংলায় বাণিজ্য করতে, স্থানীয় অনেক মানুষের সঙ্গে এদের বিয়েশাদির সম্পর্ক হয়। এভাবে নানা রক্তের মিশ্রণ ঘটে বাঙালির মধ্যে । আর এই দীর্ঘ মিশ্রণের মধ্য দিয়েই সংকর জাতির গর্বিত বাঙালি নিজের পরিচয় স্পষ্ট করে....
