The main difference between D1 and D3 is about 6" of attack height. They hit the ball just as hard, run the same plays, serve just as tough, pass just as well... the D1 players are just a bigger/higher breed of athlete.
@@abrown0009 Thats just not close to true. They don't hit at hard, serve as tough, or pass as well and its not even close. D1 defense, blocking, tempo, and ball controls is at a way higher level than d3. The attack height and physical attributes isn't even the biggest difference between d1 and d3. The skill gap is way larger than the physical gap.
Quite literally the morning after the night I saw this video I played beach volleyball against the d3 players. Didn’t realize it until after when on of my friends dads mentioned the college they go to and I remembered this video
No if they redshirted that means the true freshman year they had didn’t count and they have a second freshman year so in total they could have 5 years in college
Hunny wake up! The @Volleyball Guys posted!
people don’t realize d3 got some dogs
They also don’t realize the backyard has dogs

You’ll see the difference if you compare a mid-pack D1 team versus a mid-pack D3. National champs the gap will be much smaller.
Back in the day Matt Werle played at Juniata College and also set for the Junior National team.
How about making a drunken backyard tourny. In the penalty box u have to take 1 shot and sit out
I like where your brain is at… Scheming this for 2025.

14:40 RIP fingers. 4th set was wildddddd
if only both teams were 2 outsides and a setter, would be sick
Did not expect to watch this whole video... Wildly entertaining, good volley, and what seems like a good group of young volley bros. Insta-subscribe.
My favorite volleyball content! FINALLY

You should do a super set "25" points
wouldn’t that just be a normal set
@volleyrico it is but they are playing here "11" points set so if they want to they can add a super set for fun of "25" points
Would love to play you guys!
California Lutheran is goated. Tried to get recruited there as an outside but didn’t want me
Do you know the dimensions of the court?
Wait if they redshirted does that mean they didn't actually win the championship 😂
No if they redshirted that means the true freshman year they had didn’t count and they have a second freshman year so in total they could have 5 years in college
What is the net height/court dimensions?
Is that guy named Eric?
Is it just me or does this net look super low???
Привет !!
