This is so true when I play with men , I am all about studying the court and do placement coz I don’t have much power compared to men but placement always helps me in gett8ng the well deserved points haha 😅
i thought this was about to be another "the miracle season" type of thing but once i saw the starring USA team members i knew this was abt to be a good short film and i am not disappointed
Women's volleyball focuses on where they place it and theyre very delicate with every play , hence why its so elegant , yet obviously nothing beats smashing a ball over the block or breaking through the block , but yeah basically i think this video tries to show you that its okay to use both and even if thinking about placement might let the other team pick it up easier , you need to trust your teamates because the point you'll make isnt from you , its from all 6 six of you who worked to keep the ball up.
@@brofut15 this is so accurate!! Thank you so much for watching and for thinking about it! This was my literal exact hope for the takeaway of the story. 🙏🏻
This definitely needs more love. Been studying film & video while playing ball the last 3 years and this was very entertaining. Props to Mason for being a part of it too!
I do think that this movie shows a concept, the concept of "think before you act." and its one that you should implement in your game. You guys could maybe make some educational content in this style. That would be so awesome. Really nice work
@@LuciferMorningstar-xv5ft he’s never going to “break” the block, his whole practice is a waste of time, he should be practicing dodging it instead, because it’s better for the team
Not bad, imo lots of good things going on here and lots of room for things to potentially be improved too. Hopefully you can get some constructive feedback and put out something even better and longer in the future
@@doggoeswoof Have you ever tried messing around with the stabilizers in after effects? I find that they work way better than the ones on premier and have way less warp.

how do you keep getting blocked like each time? , sure once or twice i believe that, but more than 3 times ?, bro just hit hard to the line/anthena lets see wtf happens , 8 out of 10 times the ball is going to hit the block and going out , other than that loved the short film great work
@@pixiduster6581 story wise it was because he was deliberately trying to smash through it, and film wise it was to over communicate his failure thematically haha. very good short film. it shows to play smarter instead of ego hitting. teaches a very good lesson for younger and older players alike
