As far as your question: They had a fellow Pearl artist, Omar Hakim playing on the track. He's an absolutely incredible player and the stuff that was going on was very playable by one drummer. To me, they either changed up the mix or possibly doubled his part and changed the sound a bit on one, OR they had him overdub a second version just to make it beefier. So it really could be any of those.

A great cover no doubt about it. Dont need to hear it from me but this being my first time watching your vids no doubt you are a very talented musician and your performane in this cover is outstanding. But I think honestly that those flips in the air were unnecesary and pretentious. So much unnecessary fills, stick tricks, and more fills! not only in this song, in much of them, in general.
