I don't know what I like more.. looking at him or listening to him. He's an amazing actor and ridiculously handsome. Loved listening to his life story, only wish the interview lasted longer.
I watched Clean and Sober when I was two days sober. It made such a huge impression on me I am now 31 years sober. I love Michael Keaton. He did so much for newly sober people with that movie!!!
So Glad I Found A Common Fellow! Meaning soneone agreeing with me! Great Actor!-Versatile!-The 2nd Greatest Batman!-Adam West!-WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST!(Dont care what nobody says)!-Micheal! -Enveloped and propelled the character!-Bravo Micheal!!!
Holy crap! I knew he was from Pittsburgh but I never knew he was from my hometown of Coraopolis, PA. All that time living there (and being a huge MK fan) I had no idea he was from the same town. Wow.
I look forward to listening to this. Michael Keaton is hands down my favorite actor. Between BeetleJuice Johnny Dangerously and Batman its hard to say which role of his I enjoyed more. I have seen them all many many times. I also loved Gung Ho and just about everything I have ever seen him in. I will finally watch Birdman this week (pity it didn't play around here long if at all).
Gung Ho is an underrated comedy...he shouldn't be concerned that he didn't give a good performance there...he did. Clean And Sober would have given him his first Oscar nod had the internet been around then and had the movie been better promoted...crime that he didn't even get a nomination. Night Shift is a classic.
Yes Jannel Riley is an excellent interviewer. But I do t know why I hadn’t guessed that Michael Keyton had such passion for acting as well as an active inventive mind. He’s always playing to the audience. It doesn’t matter who where or how little, he’s always trying to make his part bigger more involved. He couldn’t just take a even a bit part at face value. He’s increasing the storyline, thinking what is the motivation why or how did he get to this point. The director yells cut. “Just walk, just walk through the forest”. He’s making the audience howl with laughter because they know exactly where he’s coming from, as well as the director. With such an active imagination, it must be difficult to sleep at night. Lol he certainly had me laughing as well as everyone in the audience. Always playing to the audience, and always leave them wanting more. So funny 🤣. But he isn’t limited to comedy, he can take a serious part and scare the shit out of you as in “Pacific Heights”. Wow what an interesting mind and great talent. Wow he certainly hasn’t lost a thing, why hasn’t he been on the screen more. He certainly can draw an audience. Funny interesting intelligent man. Great actor that can take the audience on any journey with him. I’d still love me to see more of him.
Jenelle is a fantastic aa moderator. She asks interesting questions and then is quiet and listens. Unlike so many hosts who babble and interupt the guest. Fallon and Kimmel are terrible.
He is my Beetlejuice (betelguese), he's my Batman, He's my Multiplicity and Mr. Mom and holy beans if you cant see how talented this man is it blows my mind. I have a director-minded uncle who actually pointed out all the movies when I was young. I didn't understand it then, i think i knew because I loved it even though it scared me, but this man is (excuse my french) a fucking treasure.
Watching Michael Keaton is like watching Ryan Reynolds and Mark Hamill. When you watch Keaton you see Beetlejuice peeking out at times, when watching Reynolds you see Deadpool peeking out and watching Hamill you see the Joker peeking out. Its like the person we see is a cover for what is underneath
I hope Tim and Michael get to finally make Beetlejuice 2. Keaton and Burton HAVE TO return in order for the film to be any good. The script has been written for Beetle 2. Winona is set to return for the sequel. Can't wait to see Michael play Ray Croc in The Founder. Michael is terrific. Love Burton and Keaton. You'll get that Oscar at some point, Michael. Dude, you fucking rock!
Keats keeps saying in interviews that Mr. Mom became "a part of the nomenclature." He means "a part of the vernacular." (Sorry, I know, I know. He's my favorite actor).
I think that he literally is the perfect character/personality to play Ray Kroc in Founder. I just think that is a great movie and Keaton nailed that role. The comedy Mr. Mom was good and yet I would like to see him in a comedy with a great script. Or a drama. Either that takes his "legendary status" to the next level. I've never met him yet I'm certainly tempted to say that he's a role model kind of a human being. I hope that there is a producer who has an upcoming script with Michael Keaton in mind to play an astute, driven, no b.s., articulate, business man with a level headed attitude and a tactful amount of healthy moxie. Similar to the movie Founder.
michsel keaton is one of the few actors who can be serous and funny good in both things i thought he should of got an noranation for clean and sober he was that good
I assumed the character in Birdman was meant to be a really good actor that just never was given an opportunity to prove it, and that's the source of his unhappiness. If he was just a bad actor who lucked into a major role, he would become some kind of farcical character, amusingly above himself.
I don't know if it's me or that English is my second language but at the end of the interview I didn't understand what he was trying to say, or kinda? I have no idea if native speakers got him 100, I just love the guy.
Not you. I think it's because he knows they're running out of time and he is kind enough to want her to get to what she wants to get to while expressing himself and skips some connecting sentences. He also has a quick mind. That was my take anyway. Definitely not you.
Michael Keaton is a legend!
Damn fuckin right! 💟 the people's actor. An idol of mine.
I don't know what I like more.. looking at him or listening to him. He's an amazing actor and ridiculously handsome. Loved listening to his life story, only wish the interview lasted longer.
As always a wonderful performance by Jenelle Riley. Such a good moderator!
they don’t get much better than Jenelle… she is just perfect
Very good interview and she’s superb at letting people ‘come through’ x
Oh my god. Micheal Keaton is hilarious. Such a great actor and a real person. I love this interview.
I Love this guy ! And .....A great actor .
He is so amazing, I can listed to him all day. True legend.
I watched Clean and Sober when I was two days sober. It made such a huge impression on me I am now 31 years sober. I love Michael Keaton. He did so much for newly sober people with that movie!!!
I love you Michael Keaton

Annette Jenkins I think he was the best actor to interpret the complexities of Bruce Wayne.
Luvie1980 Yes!
Gotta love Michael Keaton.
i love him soooooooooo much
always and ever love him. he is real. he is stream of consciousness
thanx and praises to the most high
Holy crap! I knew he was from Pittsburgh but I never knew he was from my hometown of Coraopolis, PA. All that time living there (and being a huge MK fan) I had no idea he was from the same town. Wow.
Multiplicity never gets any attention. He was brilliant!!
It's wonderful . I never watched it until last year and have to agree. If I'd known sooner I'd definitely would have watched it more often.
The movie was a flop money wise, but it was politically correct and that got it an Oscar.
politically correct?
i watched it and really enjoyed it.
Vern Hoover It wasn't a flop money wise. It made nearly $100 million on a budget of around $20 million.
I loved his villainous character in Pacific Heights....
One of my favorite actors. Whatever movie hes in Im there. :)
He's 69 years old, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? He's got to had have made some deal with some demon or something! I want his genetics!
Imagine my surprise when I found out he's now 71 a couple years later! Haha
You are such an amazing human being.
Another great, great interview. The kind you would sit and listen to for hours, if possible. MK is truly phenomenal, in every way. ☺️🌹👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
A great actor

Special human been....original, spontaneous and charming , honestly speakers Uau!!!!!!!
Johnny Dangerously is one of my favorites
He is my Beetlejuice (betelguese), he's my Batman, He's my Multiplicity and Mr. Mom and holy beans if you cant see how talented this man is it blows my mind. Come on! You wanna get nuts, huh??? LET'S GET NUTS!
I appreciate this detailed interview🤍
Watching Michael Keaton is like watching Ryan Reynolds and Mark Hamill. When you watch Keaton you see Beetlejuice peeking out at times, when watching Reynolds you see Deadpool peeking out and watching Hamill you see the Joker peeking out. Its like the person we see is a cover for what is underneath
The Sean Connery of Batmans. Christian came close but Keaton is still the best batman
Pacific Heights. A fantastic performance
He's a wonderfully odd dude. Very weird, in a wholesome and endearing way. As an actor I look up to him.
His natural state and mannerisms is the embodiment of Beetlejuice, it's delightful.
If he had spent the whole time, talking about Night Shift, it would be my favorite interview.
I hope Tim and Michael get to finally make Beetlejuice 2. Keaton and Burton HAVE TO return in order for the film to be any good. The script has been written for Beetle 2. i can't wait for him to get his oscar and start swearing at his speech :) Michael Keaton rules
WONDERFUL TRUE CLASS PROFESSIONAL ACTOR
Also Jack Nicholson
The Best Batman EVER!!!
The greatest Batman ever🤷🏽♂️💯💯💯😁
Agreed! 💯%
One of his best films was clean and sober
I love how considerate he is when he asks if he jumping around too much on his career timeline.
Two minutes into the conversation and I'm cracking up.
at 5:17 Kirk Douglas's real last name according to Wiki is not Ivanovitch, its Danielovitch
Iggy Lurye it's actually Mikeovich
HE'S SIXTY FOUR YEARS OLD! Looks absolutely nothing like it.
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! And still makes me weak in the knees.
Happy 65th Birthday Michael Keaton
and i like how often he acknowledges the Creator
Keats keeps saying in interviews that Mr. Mom became "a part of the nomenclature." He means "a part of the vernacular." (Sorry, I know, I know. He's my favorite actor).
beatlejuice.. best movie.. ever
who was the german documentary director? was it Werner Herzog

Perhaps I missed the segment where they discuss the Batman movie? Argh! Dicaprio, Keaton, next up...Costner! SaG marathon =D
When people forget Keaton started as a comedy actor
michsel keaton is one of the few actors who can be serous and funny good in both things i thought he should of got an noranation for clean and sober he was that good
desperate measures, with andy garcia
I remember seeing that in the theaters when it came out, very underrated movie.
Yes that was a great movie I watched it when I was little with my parents it was so nerve breaking

Is Keaton on speed or crack?

Beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice
Michael Keaton is Daddy
Lol he jabbers so much but damn, if you can follow him he's saying some really quality stuff.
why do people think success has to be a monetary value?? materialism???
Nice fucking model❤
Bruce wayne
It’s like he is coked out all the time naturally.
It is so disappointing to hear him cursing so much.
Why?
Valcu Andrei why is it annoying to hear people say ‘like’? It’s a sign of low class. Same with cursing.
@@Nazaba09 wow. Imagine being this judgemental over how people conduct themselves and speak???
