Love guild. Have 2 USA models and the P-240 memoir. Check that one out when you can. One of the best mid range 12 frets I’ve tried. Love your content man keep it up!
Hey brother! I'd love to know your opinion on the overall quality and sound of this troubadour and the Gin Rickey. I'm torn between the two with nowhere close to try in person.
I can only comment on the Troubadour, which was excellent and has a really nice pickup system. If the Gin Rickey is like the Jim Dandy models then it doesn't really compete for tone in my opinion.
They took over the original Factory was in Westerly, Rhode Island. Thanks for the video, cool little guitar.
Yes, that's where they get the name of the series from. Cheers.
Best pickup is a DeArmond 260, a "wire wound + piezo" passive sound hole pickup. Great through Fender tube combos!
DeArmond pickups are pure wizardry.

I might be getting a Memoir parlour soon. I will certainly do a video on it.
@@FlowforthInstruments you won’t be disappointed. I love mine.

What kind of strings come stock?
Long gone - don't remember!
Can I use my slide with decent sound on this .
Hell yeah!
How that pickup compares to an LR Baggs M-1
Very well - I was impressed.
How's the action on this thing? Thanks!
It was good - but any guitar you buy may need an action adjustment - and every guitar has different preferences.
@@FlowforthInstruments What strings is your guitar set up with? Thanks
@@user-dj1gl5ix3m It's long gone but probably D'Addario Phospher Bronz 11s
Sounds like Gibson '64 LG0 mahogany parlor guitar.
That's a good complement.
Sounds like cardboard, sadly.
Well, part of that is compressed digital sound... they are fairly decent guitars.
Bad lighting
Thanks for the feedback.
Talk less / play more / you will do better
