Fellow leukemia survivor here, diagnosed at the age of 28 and just got done with my transplant. Stay strong Darryl, the journey is definitely not easy but I believe that you are not alone in this trial in life. And to my fellow fighters against cancer, stay strong as we can never be down unless we let it struck us down.

Agree! We want to be treated normal... We cancer survivors are fighters! Never back down. Had chemotherapy in the past and having many side effects now after 10 years of recovery. A healthy lifestyle does help. As much as we would like to be normal, we have to accept that it has become part of us and it will affect our lives going forward. Like family planning, impact on insurance policy and etc.
Please do one with one with a stage 4 or stage 3 cancer survivor too. Also, to anyone battling cancer in the comments here. Don't give up hope. Keep fighting.
