Ah HCLW... This is one of the only few series where I accepted plot armor and "luck" so easily as it felt so natural. I guess Overgeared might almost be there but not as much as this. Been a while since I've last read it though and I paused reading at S2 bc it was just starting when I binged this. I've been seeing the new season being recommended just these past few weeks and was interested in rereading from scratch again.
I hate to be that guy but not everybody’s stats reset upon death. Hardcore Leveling Warrior only does so due to either his Personal Attribute/Gambler Class. Aside from that great video and HCLW really needs more love and attention.

Great video, I’d def recommend reading Lookism, the first 150 chapters are definitely slow but it picks up and the whole premises switches into an amazing thrill ride. Everyone in the manhwa becomes likable and each goes through a unique arc that makes them special. If you need inspiration to push through the first 100+ chapters just watch edits of it cause they definitely will gas you up
Another thing that makes me respect the creators is how they managed to make a sequel that's actually as good if not better than the original. When I saw the release of earth game I literally scremed and giggled the entire thime and I was on a good mood for an entire week

HCLW was definitely one of my faves of the Korean sphere of that genre. Actually became most partial to Manhua Solo Leveling, HCLW, Tower of God , and The Gamer. are my favorites in the Manhwa Genre. Marital Peak and Apotheosis(both Chinese Manhua) are by far my favorite from the mangasphere probobly gonna need to reread some HCLW.
HCLW was good, got bad, and now has a sequel.. been reading since chapter 1 only had fan translations back in (iirc) summer of 2016.. literally went through all of uni, my masters, and now my adult life with this series

honestly, even though the writing was sloppy at time, and the system's consistency wasn't always there, hclw have such a cool atmosphere that it's not difficult to overlook the shortcomings, even more so with the cool story, it's a breath of fresh air compared to the slew of power fantasy with barely any story
I read the whole of solo leveling and HCLW but if you think this is really good (it is but still) you have to make a video on either shadow slave or lord of the mysteries.
