In retrospect, it makes sense for GF to be the one fighting Ultra M since he wants revenge against the Dearests specifically. Like, BF has NO business being here. Like, why is he foghting the final battle? 😅
I agree that GF makes more sense, but BF still makes sense as M was intrigued by his skill and survival of other monsters, but also witnessed BF take on and survive most of the others AND witnessed his suffering with Paranoia and Powerdown

Honestly, I always hated the fact that the OG version of All Stars has Ultra M torment Boyfriend the most. Most of the problems about Mario's Madness V2 is the lack of cohesion between each storyline element: You see stuff introduced then ditched, such as the entire plotline about Daddy Dearest which is just ignored for All Stars. Now, don't get me wrong, it doesn't fix everything to just swap Boyfriend and Girlfriend. I'm just saying that swapping GF and BF does fix at least some incoherences and lets Mario's Madness V2 remember that it had a story to begin with.
Yeah, Mario hates Daddy Dearest. Which is why he is going to kill Girlfriend without question. He only agreed to let Boyfriend go if he stuck around for 3 songs, which Boyfriend broke after he escaped. So since he is going to kill Girlfriend, and he wants to punish Boyfriend for breaking their deal, so he kills Girlfriend and turns her into a puppet to mock Boyfriend.

In a courtroom, the defense would have a field day.

I guess the story would have benefited more from a revamp of the scenario to make things more coherent with eachother from the getgo.

By far this is one of my favorite mod customs I've seen I love seeing GF scared and worried for BF, it already was awesome to see the two sing together in the original mod, but seeing GF Just as horrifide for BF as he was for her. Made it all the more real. I think I also perfer this or would have liked a choose your main singer for the last fight.
