Nice, very nice indeed. And loved the shots you showed. Know the location but never been over to the falls. Must do so when I am next up that way. Cheers, Wynston.
I finally got to watch this Brett. Stunning countryside. Loved the shots you took - the ice cold, clear water against those rich greens and the harsh rocks. Beautiful!
Awesome video ... and some stunning shots. Thanks, Brett. A stunning valley for sure, I love it there too. I do like how you mentioned the area will take quite a while to work it out. Inspiring and keeping it real. Cheers!
The good - gorgeous video of a truly special area, great photos. The bad - the intro "music" made me reach for the mute button. I think my TV cable company plays the same track when they put me on hold. 😊 Just subscribed.
Beautiful spot and I think I saw the angle I'd like. I was getting worried with all the Deer that there were no sheep left but I had no need to worry! :-) Enjoyable Vlog.
Loved all of the driving scenery, and the waterfall, stunning... such a great place. Cant wait to get over there again next year and do another workshop with you.
Finally got to see this Brett. Some wonderful shots taken mate and so nice to see a bit of New Zealand also. That's one heck of a nice place and that water fall is awesome. I'll check you out on IG soon mate. Look forward to the next one. 👍.
Every time I see your videos I am in awe of the beauty of New Zealand - and this video just blew me away again. What a magic gem. I hope when the pandemic times subside, these places are still a "secret", so they can retain the magic. Gorgeous shots too. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Thanks Kathy, despite the fact I’ve had a year with no income the positives are that I’ve had time to find some magical places. Be grate to show you some when the borders open. It won’t be long now.
Great video. I found it really interesting as I have recently explored that road myself in July, and went for a wander over to those waterfalls to take some photos. You are right - lots of water spray making it hard to keep the lens clear. I certainly have a lot to learn composition wise as your shots look great. It's certainly a fantastic area - the day I was in the area was very overcast with lots of mist all through the valleys - just beautiful.
Mate another cracking video, well done, keep up the great work. I really loved that location, and the images you managed to get of the falls were very cool, you are right they do look like maybe Iceland or Scotland, that’s the beauty of NZ. Good stuff mate
I loved this spot when I was in New Zealand it's so incredible with those mountains The intro was great as well Woody it really showed what New Zealand is like 👌🏻
Great video, Brett. Very enjoyable. For what it is worth, I preferred the images taken closer to the waterfall with tussock grass in the foreground rather than those with the stream of water, but they were all outstanding shots that I would not be too proud to put on my wall. Great location that warrants return visits.
Good one Brett absolutely magical location thought I was in a scene of lord of the rings actually it looks so similar to what I’ve seen around Timaru but also very much like the area around Fort Williams in Scotland
13.47 I like that position - I chose that position (at the start of your walking around) and as you were walking up there I liked the look of it - I would like to see any photos from there if you took them.
Great video Brett. Beautiful location and an interesting compositional testbed. I am sure you will get something there, maybe in winter, especially if the snow gets down there,
