Also I love that bend in the Ahuriri river you stopped at in the end, as you captured, makes for an epic pano sunrise or sunset.
There is a better spot for the bend further up the river about half a click but I don't know the state of the road now days.
Last time I was up there the wee concrete bridge was beginning to wash away.
Very cool (ha ha) that valley keeps on giving!

If I'm not mistaken that's sunrise up the Ahuriri River valley. With Mt Saintt Mary in the middle beyond the lake. Love & know that place well & you're right it gets cold in there, and HOT. Sat in 32°C on the shore of that wee lake having lunch once, but also -11°C there for a sunrise once. Love the videos Brett, thanks for sharing them with us.
