I always learn magic tricks from watching you! And I feel like I’m visiting with a friend every time I tune in. Thanks, Lisa!
Looks like Terrence but it’s just his account😂. Gretchen
@terrenceshannon6229 Awww, thanks so much Gretchen. ❤️ That is a wonderful compliment. Thanks for watching!
LOVE THAT SMOKIN GNOME~~!!!!
Thank you!! ❤️. 😀😃🙂🙃
So cute! I live in Florida so I feel the heat, too for all summer!
Thanks! I wish you cool breezes!! 😎 😀
Such a cool idea…love seeing kitty too…thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks! 😀
These gnomes are so cute. Love your videos.
Thank you so much 💓
Yes, it's been VeRy HOT in New Hampshire. We are building an outdoor patio for my new (old/used) little kiln so when we want to use it we carry it outside so it won't heat the whole house. Hard thing to do is find a couple rainless days to run the kiln.
@lesliepease3988 This heat is crazy, right? But I hate to complain because I hate the cold. 😆 🤣 😂
Super cute, Lisa!!! I’ll have to try one soon. I love your videos, makes me feel less anxious about trying something new. The birds I made from your class are the favorite thing I’ve made so far since starting my clay adventure ❤
Oh yay, so glad you like them! I just pulled two red birds and about 5 Gnomes from the kiln, and I love how they turned out. I'm going to try to post a photo of them on the video. Glad you liked the birds. They are one of my favorites also. 😀
When making a burner I learned the hard way that they need airflow to keep burning. So either an airhole at the back at the bottom or a wavy coat on the bottom, if that makes sense. He's really cute!
Oh, good advice! I like the idea of a wavy bottom. Maybe I should add feet, with holes in the shoes or something. 🤔 Thanks!
2 AM here in south Texas and it is currently 85° with a heat index of 95°
When I walk outside the air is thick with humidity. Hotter than normal down here too.😳
I can't sleep at the moment. I am very happy to watch your video in the wee hours. Makes me feel less alone. 😊❤
Thanks! Sorry you can't sleep! I've been there. :-( I don't really like a fan blowing on me, but I have one on at night now which keeps the air moving. It does help. We are not used to this heat. And the rain keeps missing us. Some states are getting too much, and us not enough. Mother Nature needs to get on a schedule. :-) We had so much in May and now nothing. Hope we all get some relief soon from the heat.
@@WildAcornsArtStudioWeather is crazy!!! We just had a tropical storm drop 7 3/4" rain on us and it all soaked into the ground! We needed rain so bad. Then my sister who is currently in New Hampshire is getting 90° weather too. Something they are not used to! 😳
@@chrisdawson3859 Oh wow. Mother Nature has gone haywire. 😞 😀
Love the wee gnomes 🤩 they are so cute - I’ve only made Christmas gnomes - I need to make some with bright colours 🥰😊
Thanks! Yes, these little Gnomes are so cute, and fun to make. 😀
Thanks for showing us you kitty. I’m a kitty mom too. I think the nome is cute. Will be making some.😊
Thanks for watching! Mollie and Millie are so curious about what I'm making. 😀 I really enjoy them. Good luck with your Gnomes. 😀
Thank you. I made along with you and I’m very pleased with him .I would send a pic but not sure on how to do that 😊
Oh, how fun! Hope he/she turned out cute. 😀 Thanks for watching.
Hi. I like this. I've made a cabin where the smoke comes out of the chimney. I think I've pretty much had a go at making everything you've done on your videos. Great seeing you again 😀
Thanks Carolyn! ❤️
Thank you Lisa 😍 You have inspired me and I have been making gnomes as I was watching your video, perhaps I will put holes in his body so there’s more air flow for the incense to stay burning ? 💚
Thanks! Yes, maybe another air hole in the bottom somewhere. Someone mentioned to make the bottom of his coat ripply or wavy so air flow can get in that way.
Soo cute. I usually apply my underglazes on greenware and then dip in a transparent glaze. Just seems a bit quicker at the end.I like a glossy finish it feels lovely in the hand....you could wax the beard to keep it matt ❤
Thanks! Great ideas. 😀 I did end up dipping them all in Mayco's clear glaze, so I hope they all turn out. Thanks for watching.
Love your gnomes. Some advise??? For the incense burners, they need more holes for ventilation. ❤ ❤️ ❤❤
Thanks! 😀
It was 83 here in western Washington State. We’re not use to this.
So much hot air everywhere! 😀 Thanks for watching!
Your welcome. I really enjoy watching your videos. You’re a good teacher!
@@JacquelineStevens-to9py Thank you so much!! ❤️
Great gnome I as a viewer have a pet peeve when I see people like you that share your videos and than a week or 2 later someone else comes out with a video doing excecly the same thing you have done. Its like they cant come up with their own Ideas and see that the videos got lots of views and complements. I just think its wrong and unethical if you do a kiln unload and have done something another you tuber has done than give them credit for the idea and technics, Just me being a cranky old woman lol, But I do love all your videos always original
Hi Corry! You are right. I do agree with that. If someone is directly copying someone else's video and work and then putting it on social media, they should give the person credit who they received the information from. I totally agree with that. Thanks, as always, for watching. 😀
How do you fire them in the kiln.
I just stand them up. The underglaze will not stick to the kiln shelf, unless it's applied very thick.
