Sure thing. You'll enjoy it and there are tons of trails in and around Austin. Lots of variety, just no serious elevation, but the tech and the steep ups and downs make up for it.
Yea, 29er and that Hendrix 27.5+ makes it a lot easier. It's been a while since I cleaned it on my 27.5...TBH, rupturing my Achilles for a 3rd time is in my head when I manage a step up after an incline...EBD destroyed my Achilles.
