So with this method the single would appear on the feature artists Spotify & Apple Music accounts as well as mine?
Yes, as long as you use your artist name correctly and they do the same as well and connect your accounts.

@@alexshudrums Sometimes yes, depending on the platform and if you run into any foreseen problems with the AI of the platform but in most cases it works and you should be good.

Tunecore unfortunately charges you to add any additional artist & the cost is usually $14.99 per year.

i want to add featured artists on a few tracks of my album but not as main, do i need to pay an additional fee per artists or can i just add the feats in the title as (feat. ) and their name appears next to time too?
You should be able to just add them on the title as “feat. ) and also add them on the credit.

Hi Jacey. I have tried but a pop up is saying: your release can’t be edited since it has been delivered to the stores, contact artist support. Which I did. They replied saying they opened a ticket. Maybe I can do it at a later stage? Thanks for replying

Hey, if I want to add an another artist who is not on any music streaming platforms, does TuneCore ask me for money to make their profile?
It will only charge you if you want to add another main artist to the song. If the other artist signs up to Tunecore and releases a song through them, then they will make a profile for them.
If i had a label records with a couples artist inside, and i have one tunecore account, Can i upload different artist with their own song/single with that one tunecore account?
No, because you’re going to just have one profile on each platform that Tunecore is going to make for you.

And is there any other way without paying for it to show up on both our spotify and other platforms account?
Yes, you still have to pay for it. The only other way is to switch distribution platforms like to DistroKid where you don’t have to pay for an additional Artist.

What about featured artist? if he adds my name in the second page as producer,featured artist and xyz credits does it still show up on my spotify page and artist page?
You can connect it through splits and using your right email. Distributors are not scammy depending on who you use. They are just the middle man between artists and getting our music out there. Trust me, DistroKid is one of the best.

No, only yours.

Paying the extra 15 dollars is only if you are adding another primary artist to your song.

Yes, unfortunately that’s the negative about Tunecore. Remember though, that part is ONLY for another featured main artist on your song.

i have a rising star account and im trying to release a song with a friend of mine as a main artist as well but when get at the end its telling me have to upgrade to the professional profile to be able release is this correct?
Yes. The rising star membership only lets you release through certain platforms and if you are adding another main artist, it costs additional.

To give you context, I am assisting my boss with his TuneCore account and now I realized that this was what he did when he created his album and now both of their names appear on Spotify and Apple Music and now he does not want to show their names together anymore. Usually, you would have to re-upload the song or remove it from stores. Hi! I'm adding 2 artists to a sond with the "Rising artist" plan, but Tunecore tells me that I have to pay 60 euros because I should upload my plan + the 14.99 euros of another artist.
For a primary artist, yes. For a featured artist, you should be good.

Yes, so yes you would add the other main artist as a feature IF they are collaborating on the song with you and you will have to pay the 14.99. But you shouldn’t have to upgrade your membership.

I did see that it says 14.99 a year for an additional artist from the account, so I will be paying an extra15 bucks a year JUST for this song? if so, this would mean I have to pay an extra 15 bucks for ANY featured artist on any song every year which is confusing. An EP is like a little album so the goal is to be the main artist but then add some features artist to some particular songs and not all the songs

Yeah, it’s the same process but uploading them all together. Some of them you will add the features, and others you won’t. Just make sure at the start of uploading, you select “album”. Even though it’s an EP.

Once it is distributed to platforms that is the final version. However, you can always withdraw the song from platforms and then re-release it.

You would just need to do splits on the song after you add them so he/she gets notified.

I’m telling you that YES there is a verification process and the other artist needs to have a profile and account. You can say they are featured, but they still need to verify it so they can get credit and paid out. If you were to say “(feat. Eminem) on one of your songs you could potentially get sued, especially once the record label finds out.
