Having been in the room, this performance was epic. Robert Plant is still larger than life; Alison Kraus is just luminescent, and this version is mind-blowing. I'm surprised so many people around this video were having casual conversation because where I and my Dad were in the grandstand, everyone was silent, transfixed. I was grateful to have seen this in person, and I hope a professional recording of this surfaces at some point.
I agree, but I was going to see him specifically haha. I thought he sounded great. I was kind of surprised at how good he sounded because I didn’t know what to expect.
I really liked how they arranged this song. Nothing beats the original but I thought everything they did here was neat. I kind of thought in the beginning they were going to play In the Light, but when the violins started to play something substantial my hopes were over. The violin solo during this song was pretty amazing. I also really liked how they included the strings from Friends in the song. This and Battle of Evermore were probably my favorite of the set.

I think Plant & Krauss were the highlight of that concert. Robert Plant still sounds great!
