Dave the Soul Food is a KLON. The only difference is the clipping diodes. I have modified a ton of them with 1N34A germanium diodes. I asked if you wanted one on FB a while back. Another great interview of one of my favs, thanks Jon.
I’ve always wanted to know if there was any let down after becoming a “studio band.” I generally like the earlier material better because of what I hear as the chemistry of a hot band. Maybe it’s in My head. Dave?
Dave Gregory is one of my favorite guitarists.
I Love Dave Gregory,i always have a lot of time for him.
Dave subsequently spent 10 years with BBT, and his work was with them was stellar and brought out other sides of him.
Dave is a total gentleman and an unbelievably talented guitarist. It’s between him and Johnny Marr for king of the 80s Indy sound
Lovely interview, Dave is always a treat to listen to. Sound quality isn't great though

@ 1:28:40 I actually saw Steely Dan two nights in a row at Universal Amphitheatre in LA and both nights we got guest spots from Denny Dias!
