Out of all the tech subjects I have lectured on, databases or relational database systems have always been a subject with a "steep learning curve". Students tend to find it challenging, and learning takes much more effort than other subjects.
This course aims to help support anyone starting their journey into relational database systems by establishing underpinning skills and concepts of database and database design by working through practical scenario reasoning and providing the rationale to design decisions. Nothing beats experience in most subjects. That is amplified in the realms of relational database development. With the knowledge and experience gained in the course in hand, I hope that on completion of this course, it will provide the scaffolding, underpinning knowledge to support your endeavours in the world of relational database development.

I understand sometimes it might be disappointing for you to see such less number of views on your hard worked videos,
but please don't stop making these,
these are real gems , so life saver for the viewers and remember there are people (maybe only a handful) who are grateful to the knowledge gained from this channel.
    Keep the good work going...

@@veryacademy I have an MSc in Computer Science from a Russel Group uni where I had a module named DBMS. There we were taught about the relational algebra, keys, normalization, hierarchical entitties and many more DBMS concepts. Still, I can't design a simple database. This is mainly for the fact that we were never shown how a database is designed practically for the real world apps. Loved the way how you break down the concepts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I would like to request if you can also discuss or even take some real world databases and show about your thinking process either in writing or in videos in your udemy course, please. Many thanks
